I am 18 weeks pregnant with twins and purchased this item completely uninformed that the material it is made out of is extremely toxic to unborn babies and can cause birth defects. It can also affect reproductive abilities as well as cause cancer, per the P65 warning site that the label on the bottom of the ottoman leads you to. There should be an obvious warning in the product description above so that you can make an informed decision on whether or not to bring such toxicity and risk into your home! I noticed the strong chemical smell when unwrapping it, then the warning when assembling it- all AFTER I was already touching it and inhaling the fumes. This directly put the lives of my unborn babies at risk for lifelong defects, all for a cheap ottoman. I am furious I was subjected to having this in my house with no warning other than a label on the under side. It's practically criminal. Why sell anything that could cause so much harm? This should be taken off the market.

Love this ottoman. The color and quality is great. Only small issue and hence the 4 star is that it came with the lid a little bent and doesn’t close evenly but it’s not very noticeable. Something might have happened during shipping. So far I love it because I use it as storage form my throw blankets.

Very easy to attach legs to stool. Perfect height, roomy interior. Big enough to share with the animals. Thinking of making a quilted cover for it so its easy to keep clean, also ordered a fake sheepskin for it because winter is coming!!! No bad odors and the fabric reminds me of blue jeans.

I get lots of compliments on this beauty. It’s the star of my living room and is functional as storage space, a foot rest, and a coffee table.
