Aastra 9110 Telephone Charcoal

This makes it useless for me, because I am on conference calls on speakerphone a lot, and need the ability to mute frequently. The last time I used it, it stayed on permanently. So when on speakerphone, it's now ALWAYS muted. Other than that, though, the speakerphone quality was good...never got a complaint that people couldn't hear me. But for $53, would have expected more life than 11 months!

Purchased over two years ago. This is a good basic business phone. The sound quality on the handset is good and you can adjust the volume to make it very loud. You can program several numbers for one touch dialing. The keys are well laid out and easy to follow. The speakerphone worked great for a few months and then became not so great. I can hear on it OK, but when trying to talk and hear it gets choppy and is hard to hear the other person...then I have to pick up the handset to talk and hear. If you have voicemail, this phone does not have a feature to indicate if you have messages. The Aastra 9116 has this feature.

I had a difficult time finding a desk phone with speaker phone capabliity and not using batteries. This phone is a must for a home office or heavy phone user. The sound quality is great. There was a odd way of hooking up the wires to the phone line. It doesn't make sense but when you are done it works great.
