Hi - SPITFIRE® Rocket Stoves have different thicknesses for each Stainless Steel part depending on it's purpose and desired strength or flexibility needed. See examples below: For Patrol™ - the Head and Chimney are (2mm &2.5mm), the Wind-Blocker is 0.3mm, and the Legs are 4mm. For Spartan™ - the Head and Chimney are 1mm, the Wind-Blocker is 0.3mm, and the Legs are 2mm. Hope this helps!

Hi! - CONTROLLING THE FIRE:: • In order to increase the intensity of the fire, place more wood. • In order to decrease the intensity of the fire, remove some wood. • At a high intensity, it is likely that there will be some smoke. • In order to significantly increase the heat (creating a blast of heat), insert several pieces of wood through the circular opening at the top of the flue. NOTE: In this way the heat is high but the burning efficiency of the wood is low and it will burn quickly. THE OPERATING HANDLECAN BE USED AS A FIRE POKER AND TO DISASSEMBLE THE STOVE ITSELF AFTER USE (WHEN STILL HOT)
