A simple product but a sonic revelation
I use 2 subs and suffer from quirky room characteristics that cause placement issues / considerable room gain. Because of the former, I'm somewhat restricted in where the subs can be located.Looking for solutions to these issues, I came across this Auralex products and thought it's definitely worth a try given it wasn't a huge investment and the isolation platform looks inconspicuous compared to room treatments which look unsightly. The product is well finished and barely visible at all once installed.I'm sure you want to know about the sonic impact, so i'll talk a little bit about that. All i can say is this simple product makes a huge amount of difference to the bass produced. I re-ran audyssey XT32 calibration and the results for the two subs had completely changed. There was now very little level difference between them and the distances had reduced, to almost exactly what they measure (audyssey added 25% to measurements to account for room and phase issues) The low end - 22hz and below - is much tighter and cleaner, and has now stopped rattling the walls whilst still retaining that low-end room pressurising bass. The mid-range bass - 25-40hz - is warmer and richer. Overall the sound is more articulate and less flappy, with a smoother crossover / roll-off towards the 60hz point (where i cross my fronts)In summary, this product is fantastic, Remember that the frequencies where a sub operates (below 120hz) is at the mercy of the room characteristics, so room correction becomes crucial. Audyssey helps, but it can't work miracles so If you are struggling to place your sub / subs and/or have limited options, give Auralex a try.

Works as described
Excellent in reducing vibrations in the room (I have tile floors) and really does tighten up the bass response. Recommend!!!

Works! Definitely not snake oil
Works! Had a noise complaint from my next door neighbor in my high-rise condo about bass sounds and eventually bought this. With some additional fine tuning of the subwoofer settings (lowering the Hz, slightly raising volume) and placing my sub on this, my neighbor said he doesn't hear anything at all and I still get great punch from my movies, music and games. Sound actually does sound cleaner probably because it eliminates all the tiny vibrations from all the things that surround it like the TV stand, walls, etc. Worth every penny if you live in a small townhouse or condo to prevent the lower frequencies transferring to your neighbors.

You will hear the difference immediately
Call me crazy, but after setting up a 2.2 home studio, I’ve come to think of these Auralex subwoofer isolation pads as absolutely essential. If you own a sub, this isn’t just a “nice-to-have” — it’s something you’ll immediately notice. The build quality is excellent. They made of solid materials that actually have some weight to them. The foam and platform feel sturdy and well-made, and they’re rated to handle subs up to 200 lbs, which is more than enough for most setups. My 10" PreSonus T10 subs fit perfectly on them — but I’d recommend double-checking your sub’s dimensions before ordering. In most cases, you’ll probably need this version (not the larger HT one), but better safe than sorry.Setup couldn’t be easier: you literally just place your sub on top. That’s it. Once I did, I noticed right away that floor rumble dropped by at least half, and more importantly, the bass tightened up noticeably. The low-end became clearer, more focused, and less muddy — exactly the kind of clarity you hope for when adding isolation. If you’re serious about sound, whether it’s for a home studio, theater, or just better listening, this is one of those small upgrades that delivers a big improvement.

Amazing Bass Control
I was skeptical first but once installed under my sub which happened to be sitting on wooden floor before, boy oh boy the difference it made. The lows are so tight I can really crank up my sub now, no bleed over into the floor or walls whatsoever. This thing is so worth 50$, just get it, it will last a lifetime and will improve your lows drastically.

Works
I bought a more expensive isolation stand on here that got rid of 80% of the rattle that my subwoofer was emitting. Still even a slight rattle is super annoying. That stand combined with this pad make the sound perfect and got rid of 100% of the rattle. I have not tried it alone because it was just easier to slide it under the current set up with the equipment set up.

Great solution
I have 3 large active subwoofer on second floor over 2 car garage. The construction is wood framing. Before installing these vibration mats the room walls would shake and even feed back into my turntable !!These units were recommend by Rythmic Subwoofer Co!! Great advice! The Rattling of the walls and turntable is completely gone. The entry from the active subs is Not coupled into the structure!! Great solution

Amazing
I thought I was getting mediocre mushy bass response because I purchased a lousy subwoofer. This platform changed all that. Now I get deep, tight, punchy bass like I'd never heard before from the stereo in my carpeted apartment. Can't really say if it bothers the guy below me but no complaints yet. Dramatically improves the lower end of my hi-fi and without upsetting my turntable. Very pleased.
