Key review
Price was right compared to a dealer or locksmith price. Looks like the original without the Ford emblem. Key shop programed and cut the internal key with the caveat it might not program correctly. But it did and it works great. Now I can drive with worry since I had only one key fob for the past 11 years. Considering a second purchase just to make sure I can lose one and still have two to program my own keys if I lose one.

Good backup key fob
This will be a backup fob. The programming process was easy as I had my two original key fobs. I’ll have someone cut the included blank key. The device is lighter weight than OEM, but fine for a backup. It included a link to the programming instructions on the package.

2013 Taurus SHO + forscan. Worked great.
was able to code this to my 2013 Taurus SHO with forscan in about 15 minutes. All I got with the car was one generic keyfob. Even more generic than this one. this keyfob feels much more rigid and of better quality.anywho. with forscan I didn't need 2 original keys or anything like that.

bad keys
I was a locksmith for 20 yrs, so yes I know what I'm doing. We tried to program this key into 2 different vehicles a month apart and both FAILED with every computer we tried. Use caution when trying to make a key for your vehicle.

Can be programmed by the user
Refer to the security section of your vehicle owners manual. Process worked for my 2015 Taurus. Placed the new intelligent fob in the pocket of the center console. Two original fob were inside the passenger compartment. Engine off, doors closed. Pushed the door unlock button on the door three times. Pushed the brake once. Pushed the door lock button on the door three times. Pushed the brake once. Star/Stop button light was flashing to indicate programing. Pushed Start/Stop button. Removed newly programmed fob from the console and confirmed it's button's unlocked and locked the vehicle doors.Maximum of four programmed fob for my vehicle. Understand that a dealer or locksmith can clear the list. Seems most important to have the original pair of fob. Without them you have to pay for programing. Not exactly the same look or feel but it works. I did notice remote start function not always working. Issue resolved if fob being used to remote start is the last fob used to start the vehicle inside the passenger compartment.Seriously consider having a spare before it's too late to program it yourself.

A bargain. Programmed and worked instantly.
Cheap additional Keyfob for our 2017 Expedition.Programmed and worked instantly. All functions worked correctly. Programming instructions can be found several places with a quick Google search on the 'net.Factory cut key from the broken keyfob that this replaced did work (store) in the new keyfob with a little bit of trimming on the metal part of the original key. For me, there was no need to get the new key blank cut into an additional key because I could use the old one.One side note- your Ford vehicle will only accept a total of four keys programmed into its system. The vehicle obviously comes with two keyfobs new, so there is space for an additional two keyfobs in the system. In my case, somebody had added a third keyfob to my vehicle (replacing a lost original...) so the keyfob I just purchased ended up being the fourth and final one. Any more, and I'm off to the Ford dealership to have them wipe the security system and start all over again with programming them.

Responsive, good quality for money
Bought this to replace a cheaper Ford key clone from another company that had a poorer build quality and not blue oval inset, it cost about $20. This is worth the extra $15 in comparison. The cheaper one had really poor range and inconsistent signaling. I used to have to spam-click the old key even up close to hope the car responded. This key however, responds in one click at all normal ranges like an OEM key would.
