BATTERY LIFE AND PERFORMANCE SUPERIOR TO RAY-O-VAC EXTRA
As MANY others have noted, these are a b!tch to remove from the card. I have measured the voltage after "resting" for several minutes to be ~1.43 volts. The Ray-O-Vac extras only measure ~ 1.35 volts. The battery life of these Amazon Basics batteries is basically the same with my daily use lasting around 10 days for the 312 size. It seems that the "Extra" batteries are only "extra" in price as their performance is substandard to these Amazon batteries. TIP - If you may still have an old - pre-idiot packaging card, I cut out six of these batteries and load them into the easier to open card for dispensing. Scissors are mandatory to remove these batteries, my main gripe...

Average battery life, good price but packaging sucks
Batteries worked fine in my hearing aids. However the child-proof packaging sucks, you have to cut the package to get a battery out. If you're in places where sharp item is not allowed like the airline, you'd be stuck with dead battery until you get out and can access sharp item. If you don't have any children at home or nearby, consider cutting the whole package and transfer the batteries to a small container for easier access when needed. These batteries seem to last about a month after I peel the tab, about average for most of the air-activated 675 batteries. While they can work in other devices beside hearing aids, it is not recommended as the batteries aren't designed to work in other electronics such as laser pointers and calculators.

Good product, frustrating packaging
These batteries are fine. They work and they're budget-friendly. Unfortunately, the packaging is not senior-friendly. While I know plenty of people use hearing aids without other impairments, many of the people who use them have vision impairment or movement issues, and this packaging requires scissors and determination.

As good as (or BETTER) than any I've bought elsewhere!
(Updated June 2019) These hearing aid batteries are still "da bomb!". They are still working just like I described below - I am still averaging over 9 days per battery, so my FIVE STAR RATING???I'd give them more stars if I could! If you wear hearing aids, please, do yourself a favor and try these! SO MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE than those in drug/grocery stores, even "discount stores"... and they last longer!Questions? Feel free to ask! I'm a happy customer!!!!(ORIGINAL REVIEW - and it is all STILL TRUE!!!!!)I have worn hearing aids for over half my life. Buying hearing aid (HA) batteries is a never-ending endeavor. /I've bought them from my audiologist's office but they are SO expensive, yet I require them in order to interact with my world. I've purchased them from my local drug store before in a pinch, and unless you can catch them on sale, again, SO expensive.A few months ago my husband bought some regular AmazonBasics batteries (AA, AAA, etc) and they lasted well, so I thought, "Why not?".My question now is "Why did I wait so long to try these???".My regular name brand batteries from the drug store or my audiologist last me exactly 7 days - rarely one might last 8 days. I just had to change one of my HA Batteries today. The last time I put one in was 10 days ago.... TEN. That's three days longer than the ones sitting in the drug store or audiologist's office shelves. The other battery (as I wear two aids, one in each ear) seems to still be going for me... but I'm thrilled with 10 days! These batteries are packaged in a little box that fits in my hand (pictures), and there are 10 packages of 6 (size 312) batteries. Other brands of batteries that are size 312 are color-coded with a brown header on the card holding the 6( or 8 or 12) batteries and peel off tabs on the back of the battery - these are color-coded in exactly the same way.Note: in case you didn't know, the peel-off tabs must not be removed until you are going to place them in your HA. Once the tab is removed the battery is activated. If you leave your batteries in a hot car, and the adhesive evaporates due to the heat, your batteries could be prematurely activated and go bad before you actually get to use them in your HA! Hearing Aids have an expiration date (these that I purchased recently are good through 11/2020).Y'all - I paid less than $14 for SIXTY hearing aid batteries. That's less than a QUARTER per battery!!!!! And it was delivered free with Prime! I didn't have to get dressed and drive into town to the store, mess with expiration dates, long lines to check out.... nope, nope, nope!I have spent as much as a DOLLAR PER BATTERY at the drug store !!!!!! The ones at my audiologist's office were less than that (about 80 cents per battery). Will I purchase these again?Ohhhhh, yeah! For sure I will! I'd be crazy not to!My purpose in reviewing this and other items is only to provide my honest opinion based on my experience with the item. Great batteries, last a long time
My hearing aids tend to go through a lot if batteries & ibwas tired if paying top $$ fir a different brand. These actually last longer than the larger well known brands. A definite reorder product for me! Of course, because of laws, there's no easy way to open the blisters the batteries are in so make sure you've got a pair of scissors to get them open.

good price, some inconvenience
These batteries last about as long as name brands. Sometimes my batteries fail and need to be removed and wiped clean before they work again. I think these do that a little more often than name brands. The packaging is an issue. I cannot remove the batteries from the sheet of six without a knife or sharp scissors -- the plastic is very tough. If you may have to replace the batteries frequently where quick easy access is important, you'll need to take that into account.

Difficult to remove from package
These are very difficult to remove from the package. You cannot get them out without scissors, so no "on the go" ease. For this reason and the short sticker tab I would not recommend for anyone with dexterity issues. The life of the battery seems to be half of Duracell. While I was impressed with the cost I would not buy again.
