Arrived well packaged and on time. This L bracket is easy to use and works really well. It holds the camera very firmly and seems to me robust enough to last long term. Does what it needs to do.I recommend this item for anyone thinking of buying one.

First thoughts:ProsGood quality materials seem to have been used.Arca-Swiss mounting option on the vertical and horizontal plate.Plenty of ¼” screw threads over the entire L bracket for additional accessory connections.¼” camera mounting screw with D-Ring and coin slot for hand or tool tightening.Camera mount screw is in a long slot so there’s a choice of positioning for different sized cameras.Loop in the metal for a neck or hand strap.ConsNothing of note.Simple but so useful as this one is a universal fit and I’ve not had any problems fitting it to a Nikon D80, 5100 or a 5600 which are all different sizes, have different access ports on both sides of the camera and I’ve used the bracket on them with and without battery grips attached.The bracket can be positioned close to the camera body or with a gap at the side if I need extra room for cables into the ports. There are cut outs in the metal for this but the option is there if my cable heads require extra room (this is down to the slide/slot on the bottom of the bracket).Additional screw threads have been drilled into the bracket so it adds a few extra mounting options like I'd get on a camera cage.Details and things to note (See pictures):2x separate metal plates with Arca-Swiss mounts that can be connected together to form the L bracket.The horizontal plate has rubber grips on the contact surface to grip and protect the bottom of the camera.2x hex keys and 2x screws are included to connect the plates or to adjust anything already connected.Once connected tightly, the L bracket is strong enough to support my DSLR cameras in a vertical/portrait orientation, even with a gap at the side of the camera. This is even more stable if I have the bracket right up against the camera body.Final thoughts:An excellent bit of camera kit and surprisingly well made. Considering I have L brackets costing 4x the price of this, I’ve been very impressed with the quality of this for a small fraction of the cost.I’m highly recommending this to anyone with DSLR cameras and Arca-Swiss mounts as it's a useful way to quickly swap the orientation of your camera without changing the position of your ball mount.

This is a review of the WLPREOE brand DSLR Camera L-Bracket with Swiss Arca system quick release fitting. It comes in a flat cardboard box in two main pieces - base and side bracket - plus two Allen keys to help assemble it and a separate tripod 1/4inch camera fitting with both a slot and a ‘half moon’ fold down flat ring type fixing. It’s very easy to screw together and impossible to screw it together backwards (!). The actual bracket is well machined from very sold aluminium alloy with nice clean threads and all finished in a satin black colour. In use it works well - I am using it on my Canon 7D which, or rather I use, a battery box/grip attached to it but it does everything I want of it as in using it in both vertical and horizontal positions. It all feels very robust and as there are no ‘moving parts’ as such, apart for the camera mounting screw, I think it has a good working life ahead of it. Recommended

Not very good. The L bracket requires construction which means it's not sturdy which means it's not reliable. It works itself loose after very little use and I'm not risking my expensive cameras with a DIY L bracket.There are much better options available for only a little more money.
