SnugPad Memory Foam Seat Cushion - Coccyx Cushion for Back Pain, Sciatica, and Tailbone Pain

As an author, I spend a lot of time sitting at my desk. I don't have time for pain; I need a hardcore product that will keep my butt in chair typing. I researched a ton of seat cushions and there were four things that compelled me to buy this Nurturesoft over the dozens of others I looked at: 1) the glowing reviews, 2) the fact they mentioned it was a 3-in-1 (even though I only need it for my office chair and car), 3) the beautiful design (tapered for legs as well as behind) and 4) the midnight blue color.I've now had the pleasure of testing the Nurturesoft in a variety of situations:1) In my office chair2) In my car3) At a friend's house in an otherwise uncomfortable plush chair that's always given me back problemsThe Nurturesoft excelled in all three situations. Chair-wise, it eliminated lower back pain regardless of the chair I used it in. It made an immediate, obvious difference, as well as a long-term one. And whether you're driving across town or on a long trip, it's a no-brainer to take it with you for car trips.This is an amazing, high quality product that not only looks good, but feels good. The textured bottom means it doesn't slip and stays where you put it. You can tell the designers put a lot of thought and care into this. (Also, there was no chemical smell out of the box.)For an even more amazing experience, I recommend you pair this with the Nurturesoft Lumbar Support. It's made of the same high quality material and also comes in midnight blue.Update: One year later, this cushion retains its shape and support. A quality product!

I purchased this as I have difficulty in getting out of the couch due to an illness. I had been sitting on some extra pillows but that was not working well. So far this has helped with giving me additional support. When it first arrived I wasn't sure if I was going to like it as it was very stiff and hard. Now that I have been using it, it has become firm and comfortable. I will be getting a power wheelchair soon which comes with a cushion but I may need to replace it with the NurtureSoft.

Quality is top notch. I gave it 3 stars because it fits your posterior in a fashion that it makes you feel like your sliding forward, this could be my skinny bottom but still a nice product.

did not dissapoint, very comfortable. I work sitting down all day! so this is great for my long days and daily aches. I definetly would buy me another one to keep in the house

This cushion is not supportive at all. It is so soft and squishy, just like cheap memory foam, it flattens out when I sit on it so there is no support for my tailbone area. It is so squishy, it comes in the package folded in half! I"m not sure how this claim can ever be true if the manufacturer or seller ever even tried the cushion: "Clever Memory Foam which means it will not flatten out and designed to relieve pain in your tailbone and lower back". I am still on the hunt for a REAL supportive ergonomic cushion that I bought last year from Amazon, but lost it. I had asked another customer if the foam was firm and they said yes, but that was not the truth.

I sent the Nurture Soft 3-in-One Office Chair seat cushion to my 97-year-old, invalid aunt. She has become increasingly sore from sitting or lying almost 24 hours a day. And her wheelchair was the most uncomfortable of all.Within a day of its arrival, my aunt called to tell me how delighted she was with the gift. It had made all of her chairs feel wonderful and her sore skin was improving because the constant pressure was relieved by the Nurture Soft cushion.As my friends and family all seem to be hurtling into old age at a rapid pace I shall keep the Nurture Soft cushion in mind for future gifts as I am sure they will be much appreciated.Thank you so much for making this wonderful cushion.

I purchased this product BC of the ratings, however my friend has had no significant relief using this pad. The pad is not cushioning his bottom from the bumps riding in the wheelchair. I would really appreciate a product that will make him comfortable while sitting & riding while being transported. That is why I purchased the higher priced pad.

This is probably the 6th different type of seat I've tried, and I'm FINALLY happy. I have severe degenerative disk disease. Some of my worst degeneration is in my L4/L5 and horrible scrum pain. I love this cushion so much. It's just the perfect firmness and support with give in all the proper places. Am I still in pain? Sure, but after a long day at the office, a long car ride, a long day sitting on bleachers watching my kid compete... I'm in less discomfort during those periods than I used to be. I carry this cushion from office to home, but I'm absolutely going to purchase another one so I can leave one at work. It's the best pelvic, tailbone, spine pain seat cushion I've found so far.
