Kaytee13" Clear Run-About Exercise Ball For Pet Rats & Chinchillas

I got this for my rats it was very easy to clean. It seemed pretty durable and the design was right I liked how it was clear so I could see my rat running around everywhere.

I got the smallest one. My dwarf hamster does love it. It’s a much better size for him than the average one at the store. The only thing is his little toes can fit through the gaps. There has to be air gaps though and he doesn’t get stuck.

I got this for my pet Sherman, a rescue rat, when he was only 4 weeks old. He was only a few inches long at that time. Sherman is now 17 in long and still plays in this ball. It's a little cramped because he is so big now. He gets plenty of exercise outside of the ball. Yet he still like to go in it and has free choice. I set it snugly outside of one of his playpens and when he wants to go for a roll, he will walk in and out and let me know. Then I grab the top and just attach it and let him roam around the house until he's done. When he's done, he travels it back to his playpen entrance. Then I let him out.The ball is pretty sturdy within reason. The opening takes a bit of savvy to make sure all the parts are fitted together before letting the thing roll. It is easy to clean.Even though it is 13 in in diameter, it's a little small for a rat this size. I wish they made 15 or 16-in exercise balls! When Sherman plays in it, his tail seems to warp over to the side a little. It would be better if his tail could be straighter behind him. But since he only ambles around in it for a a couple of minutes, and not fast at all, it serves its purpose.He also has a 12 in diameter exercise wheel. But this ball allows him to roam around the house and be safe. It's worth it to see how He gets enrichment exercise and play time.

I'll give this 4 stars. It is well made and easy to put together. However 5in is way too small. I have a tiny Robo Hamster and his back is very curved using this ball.

This is a great product, well made and very sturdy. There are plenty of air holes so the little feller can breathe through it and it's solid as a rock unlike a lot of the other balls out there, this one will stay together!

Door broke and need to tape shut. My guinea pig did not like using this ball at all.

Good quality. Bought this for my daughter’s hamster and didn’t have to worry about her (the hamster that is) running the ball into anything and opening it up. Felt comfortable with her being out with my dogs out knowing they wouldn’t get her out. I have little dogs but they can get ruff. Will buy again and recommend it.

Keeps the little guy contained so he can run around without getting eaten by the cat. It does let poo fall out the cracks which is kinda gross

A bolinha veio intacta, o material é bom, mas não dura a vida toda. Comprei para a Hamster sírio da minha filha. Ela gosta bastante, mas qdo ela corre acontece de ela dar a volta junto com a bolinha. Mais adiante vou comprar um número maior.Recomendo está marca.

A tampa é muito frágil, só usei uma vez e depois nao prestou mais.

The media could not be loaded.  Our hamster is very happy with this run-about-ball like you can see in the video attached. Other balls we have purchased haven't quite been large enough for a Syrian breed or golden hamster like ours whereas this one she fits perfectly.I do wish it was a bit more durable plastic but it still holds up really well and would still take a large drop to break. I wouldn't roll it down the stairs but I'd also not let my hamster roll down stairs so it will do the job.
