There are two things to write about here: Amazon’s packaging and the product itself. The first, the packaging, left much to be desired. Amazon chose a thin plastic bag. It didn’t offer much protection. The single ply, non corrugated box inside arrived quite mangled. Fortunately, the plastic bags inside (5 bags of 10 masks) were fine and not damaged. Now for the masks themselves: fantastic! The straps are folded and must be “unpeeled” to fully expose and release the straps. However, once done and the mask is put on, the straps are very stretchy and comfortable. I was having some issues with the corded straps on a standard mask. My ears had gotten sore and weren’t healing. These masks fixed that. I am a customer for life.

I was getting bad ear and headaches from typical mask ear loops. You can spend a lot more money and not get this comfort.If you work in a high-risk setting, I recommend Kimberly Clark’s KN95-style masks - they form a great seal and have super comfortable ear loops. They inspired me to search for these.Only thing that could be better - the fit on the sides. If you’re not in a high-risk indoor environment, these are still worth every penny.There’s a knack to unfolding and stretching the ear loops without breaking them. Avoid pulling on the parts where the loops join the mask.Also, not for large faces.

These are the ones! So good, I've reordered twice so far. I go through a lot of disposable masks daily at my job. These are by far the most comfortable of any that I have tried, and I've tried a lot! Ear loops are soft, and the mask is well structured with adjustable areas on nose. I have not had an issue with the ear loops breaking, however I can see where kids may break the straps if they are too rough. However, I think that would happen with just about any disposable mask and kids, so if you're an adult, they should work fine.

I wanted to love these masks, especially since it's hard to find black masks with wide ear loops. The ear loops break too easily. The loops are stuck shut, then break when you try to open them. Over half of the masks in the boxes I bought could not be worn. Total waste of money. ***Update: The manufacturer has created a video that shows you how to open the masks correctly. After watching the video, these masks are my favorite. However, the directions to open them should be printed on the box.

I love these masks.However, Amazon packed it in a brown paper envelope and when I got it, the box was totally crushed. I accidentally left a "not satisfied" remark on the delivery - and it wasn't that person's fault. I have video of the delivery and their delivery was perfect.

I'm a fan of the blue mask version. I've bought a few boxes and they didn't let me down.However, I saw the black version on sale and thought, why not try it. Very rarely I leave 1 star reviews but the black version of this mask warrants a negative review.First, they are very poorly made compared to the blue version. I'd say 75% of the box were defective. The straps when you pull them, it's made in a way that they over seamed it. When you pull it to expand the straps, it rips. If you expand it carefully, there's small tears in the loop material that breaks very easily. This was so disappointing. I was in Japan visiting a museum this past June. The mask loop broke with a small amount of pressure while in the museum. I didn't have any masks left so I had to ask a salesperson if they had extras so I could wear it on the bus. On public transportation, it's a courtesy to wear masks. I brought 20 of these puravita masks for my trip, all of them broke prematurely. I ended up buying some other brand in Japan to use.Secondly, about 1/4 of the masks didn't have a metal nose band. It shows how terrible the quality control is. I'm hoping this is a bad batch or something but I'm not going to order the black ones anymore. In fact, I'm hesitant on buying the blue ones. These masks are supposedly made in America. What a terrible example of American manufacturing prowess.Thirdly, the material is substantially inferior compared to the blue mask version. The black masks feel like almost a thin piece of cloth. The blue ones were more stiff with better material. I don't think the black ones are even ASTM level 3 since the material is so thin.Tldr don't get the black masks. Actually, maybe don't get masks from this manufacturer. I'm seriously doubting their quality now.

I found that after wearing the normal corded masks that my ears hurt after a few hours. With these, I didn't have that problem and could wear the mask all day without pain. Fit nicely to the face for protective coverage. Have reordered these masks 3 times now. Only mask I will wear.

The quality feels good. The mask part is nice and thick but not so much that you're just drawing air in from the sides. The earloops feel so soft, not loose but it doesn't hurt your ears after a while.My biggest problem with any mask is the nose strip not conforming well. It springs back just a little bit after forming. The size of the mask part is not as wide as I'd like and some of them are scratchy from where the earloops and mask connect.I think these will be great for someone with a higher nose bridge and smaller face. They are just not for me.

The face masks are definitely not made in the USA. Based on what’s stated, they are made in China. The premium price does not commensurates with the product.
