Officemate Portable Storage Clipboard, Charcoal

This is more sturdy and more for construction sites or worksites that need something of this caliber. This is a very good clipboard. I am keeping it, but you never know. It is made very well.

I bought one of these about 6 or 7 years ago, and it really took a beating. I finally had to replace it when the clip broke- one of the plastic bits on the hinge broke off. Needless to say, I loved it so much that I intently searched on here for one just like it. I really love this clipboard. It holds all of my important documents- resumes, certifications, letters, stationery, business cards. You name it, and there's room for it. It's a little bulky, but fits a remarkable amount of paperwork. I have the pencil holder loaded up with two pens, a pencil, and a highlighter. I have clips in one of the smaller compartments, but have yet to find a use for the other. If there was one thing I would change, it would be a larger pencil compartment. I have dropped this numerous times, and it's held up. I really love that I can have virtually everything in one place. I also love that I can take paper out, take notes, and then stow the paper away again, with plenty of room, when I want to carry this around. Overall, this is the best clipboard storage item that I've found- at least, for MY needs. It's a real boon to my organization. I highly recommend it! This has great storage capacity, with the two small compartments on either side of hte handle, plus the long pen compartment on the bottom of the outside. Inside has 2 "pockets" on the left, and an open area on the right. I find the side opening to be the most versatile for me, and the handle is a great feature. The only downsides I can see is that it is made out of inexpensive plastic, and the little compartments on the outside will break off sooner than later I fear. They are not the easiest to open or close, which is putting stress on the hinges. The clip is not the strongest and the papers are tenuously held. I've put a large rubber band around my papers to help hold them in place. Overall, this does exactly what I need it to, and I'm satisfied with the price I paid for the product I received. When this one breaks, I will buy another.

This is an all around excellent clipboard. The clipboard is made of great quality plasic, is durable, easy to open, very scratch resistant, the right size for standard paperwork, was a comfortable weight to carry, and thick enough that dropping it on concrete or asphalt wouldn't crack the clipboard. My husband can be rough on his things and this clipboard stood the test of time for 2+ years in a factory setting. He finally had to replace it when the clip for papers finally broke and couldn't function properly anymore. I quickly bought him the same clipboard to replace his original. Highly highly recommend this clipboard for its outstanding quality and durability.

I bought this clipboard after I accidentally ran over one that I had for probably 15 years with my truck. I use this clipboard as a Secretary at two Masonic lodges and this clipboard by far is way better than the one that I had previously. It holds a lot. It has several different compartments to hold different-sized things (pens, paperclips, etc.) and provides several slots to hold certificates, important paperwork, etc., off to the side if need be. What I like the most about it is that it's thick enough to hold my Masonic ritual books and it also has a carrying handle, which helps me immensely when I'm carrying a lot of things into the lodge building. One complaint that someone mentioned was that the side compartment lids are hard to shut. I agree that they are, but I'm sure they'll get better with time, and if they don't, oh well. It's a great clipboard, especially for the price too.

This is a really thought out type of clipboard, HOWEVER, if you lift those plastic pieces to put pencils or pens, and paperclips, it is so hard to get them to snap back properly, it feels like you could twist the pieces right off. It's really good that I got this on sale, because I would not pay full price for this. I love the idea, but this specific one isn't working in my opinion. The sleeves on the inside are a good idea, but you have to fight with the papers to get them to sit down the whole way. I really wanted to love this because I need this kind of clip board, and so far out of all the ones I seen, this one made the most sense to me. If this had sturdier clips around the edge I would give this a 4 star, if you changed the inside style of it, I would give this a 5 star. It really is a great concept, so I would buy it and see if it works for you. I will continue to use this until I come along something better.

Amazing for field work and emergency work. So sturdy it held up to an front door being slammed into it and holding the door open for over 30 minutes, not even a dent!

Soy estudiante de medicina, esta tabla me sirve demasiado en mis guardias en el hospital, en ella puedo guardar desde hojas y documentos importantes hasta incluso mi estetoscopio littmann! Que aunque no lo crean cabe perfectamente, incluso hasta pequeños libros de bolsillo. El material es resistente, se puede caer y no se quebrara! El unico inconveniente que pudiera tener (no para mi, sino para alguien mas) es que es un poco grande, mas de lo habitual para una tabla/clipboard. En lo personal a mi no me molesta puesto que se me acomoda muy bien con el orificio que trae en el lado derecho (sirve de agarradera) pero si lo que buscas es algo mas portátil y ligero, esto no es lo tuyo, en cambio si buscar algo todo en uno, donde puedas guardar muchas cosas, tenerlas seguras y ademas tener una tabla para apoyar merece la pena comprarla.
