Very thin and light. Exactly what I expected. There is no padding but the interior is generously sized so you could fit a laptop in a neoprene sleeve easily. This is more for papers including file folders.The only thing I would add is a set of metal or heavy duty plastic loops to attach a shoulder strap or a sewn-in lanyard and loop for keys. Otherwise it is just right. It offers decent protection from the elements such as light rain or snow.

This is the worst piece of Chinese garbage I have ever purchased. Broken zipper, interior loaded with mold and mildew from where?Not able to say anything good about such a poorly made product.Now in the waste receptacle as could not stand the idea of another having to deal with the mold and mildew situation.
