Another win from Be Quiet!
This keeps my M.2. cooler than even the stock heatsink on my Mobo. Plus it looks great. Worked perfectly for my application. Its pretty compact so tons of airflow can go over it no problem. Very high quality build. Instructions easy to follow. Would buy again no doubt!

Wow! Supreme temp drops on Gen4 SSDs in Alienware Aurora ACT1250
First off, it comes with 4 screws, the heatsinks, and a little screwdriver (awesome inclusion). The build quality is superb. Installation is super easy. Peel the thermal pad covers off, slap the SSD in there and line it up properly, slap the top portion of the heatsink on, and squeeze the heatsink pieces together firmly on the SSD, and screw in the screws in the appropriate holes (There are holes for single sided or double-sided SSDs). I bought two of these heatsinks for two SSDs in a newly purchased Alienware Aurora ACT1250. I used HWInfo64 and CrystalDiskMark to test temperatures. Max temps prior to the heatsinks: (naked drives) SK_Hynix SSD Gen4 2TB - 59C WD Black SN850X 2TB - 68C Max temps with the heatsinks: SK_Hynix SSD Gen4 2TB - 45C WD Black SN850X 2TB - 42C Overall, I am blown away by the temp drops. And keep in mind, the Alienware Aurora does not have active cooling blowing over the SSD area, so these temps are basically passively cooled. Very impressive. I also ran a temp test on a Samsung 980 Pro 2TB with an ASUS X870 Strix motherboard heatsink in a different computer (with very good airflow), and those temps were near 70C max, so this little SSD heatsink seems to be much improved even over beefy motherboard SSD heatsinks. For the price, you cannot go wrong. If you want to dramatically improve temps on your SSDs, I can confidently and highly recommend the Be Quiet! MC1 Pro heatsink.

Great on Ps5
I bought this heatsink to upgrade my Ps5 storage, adding 1tb from a WD Black SN 770 m.2 drive, I couldn't be happier with it. I got large-size games installed on that m.2 and I have never faced any issues while loading these games, maps, you name it. Games like GoW Ragnarok, Ghost of Tsushima, WWE 2K25, Spider-man 2, Cyberpunk 2077, among other AAAs. Fits perfectly, quality is TOP NOTCH, though this is a standard on Be Quiet products, quality is: this thing will outlive me for sure, great looking too, in any case you'll be installing it on a motherboard. Huge value for money, specially if you can get it on sale, out of it, still recommended!

Works well
Work well for gen 4 ssd, the factory heatsink was too tall, this allows some cooling atleast.

Fits perfectly, good value
It fit my double sided ssd. Was worried about clearance since the GPU was right next to it, but it cleared the GPU by a millimeter! Looks sturdy and was easy to install. PCIe 4.0 and 5.0 ssds runs hot. So I wanted to extend the life of the ssd by trying to keep it cool. Overall, I was pleased with this purchase and recommend it to others.

Great choice if you’re looking for a heatsink
Will definitely keep your ssd’s nice and cool, love anything Be quiet!, their build quality is always amazing super durable and premium, I just wish they came with a screw for the ssd but thats my fault for losing my spares but fit perfectly snug between my ssd

Nice Bit of Gear
Sits snugly under my graphics card - and I mean SNUGLY. Buyers beware that this cooler does have some thickness due to the heat pipes and may not fit all applications - the MC1 version doesn't have the pipes and is quite a bit shorter. Keeps the drive (970 EVO Plus) around 5 to 10c cooler but would likely be better with more airflow - situated as it is practically under my GPU airflow is limited. Has enough mass to where "normal" use won't cause any thermal issues, but if I were to do a lot of 500GB writes to the drive I'd feel better with more airflow around it - it does a fine job for what it is - but it IS a passive heatsink with limited airflow. It's in the WORST spot on my board and it's doing as well as can be expected - it's quality, but not able to violate thermal dynamics. Packaged very well, included a magnetized screwdriver. None of the 4 screws ever got "tight" - maybe by design (didn't look at the TINY screws to check). Used a little blue locktite on the screws just in case - likely not needed but better to be sure. DO NOT remove the "sticker" on your NVME unless you know FOR FACT that it is just paper. Removing it may void your warranty and, if it's a Samsung, that "sticker" is actually a heat spreader itself. Also - on a Samsung - if removed, yes, bubye warranty. Testing also confirms that, at least with Samsung, performance is better with it than without it. So again, only remove if you KNOW it's just paper - my understanding is that's pretty rare on quality drives. So, tl;dr - it works. Everything you need and made well. If you're in a situation where the heatsink will have some airflow along the fins I'm confident it will work well.

What a nice product. Easy to follow instructions and screwdriver that works for full installation process in a PS5 provided. My Crucial SSD fit perfectly in this, which had no issues fitting in PS5 (and you can replace the PS5 SSD cover on top should you wish to). The screws to secure the heatsink are tiny, but work in a bright environment, and magnetised to provided screwdriver, and you should have no issues. I like that they are packaged in a compartment behind tape, it's little touches like this that make sure nothing goes missing. Drive works OK with no overheating, though I'd expect it to anyway - however other reviews here shows it is effective in keeping temps down. For a similar price to many cheaper products, provided with rubber bands and the like, this is way better and still provided at a good price. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a new Samsung SSD and I also needed a reliable Cooler. I decided to complete my setup with the be quiet! MC1 SSD Cooler, a product designed to tackle the heating issues of M.2 2280 single and double-sided modules. The brand promises not only enhanced performance but also a seamless integration into any PC build, courtesy of its minimalist design and renowned be quiet efficiency. Upon receiving the package, the first thing that struck me was the attention to detail in the packaging. The cooler was securely encased, with clear instructions ( Even if instructions are really not necessary as there’s only one way to mount it and you cannot do it wrong even if you try :-D ) and all necessary mounting hardware included. The sleek, black design of the cooler itself exuded a premium feel, matching perfectly with my PC's aesthetics. It was love at first sight! So installing the MC1 cooler was a breeze. The build quality was impressive, featuring a solid aluminum heat sink and thermal pads that promised efficient heat dissipation. In terms of performance, the MC1 cooler did not disappoint. I primarily use my setup for gaming and video editing and AI image generations/upsizing etc. , activities that can cause significant SSD heating. Prior to installation, I'd noticed my SSD's performance dipping during extended sessions, likely due to thermal throttling. However, with the MC1 cooler in place, those issues became a thing of the past. My SSD's temperatures dropped significantly, ensuring stable performance even under heavy load. The difference was like night and day, with faster load times and no more fear of data loss or damage due to overheating. Despite all, it's worth noting that its size may pose compatibility issues in tighter builds or when adjacent slots are in use. The peace of mind knowing my SSD is running cool, coupled with the tangible performance improvements, has been a major win. In conclusion, the be quiet! MC1 SSD Cooler has matched my expectations. Its build quality, performance enhancement, and sleek design make it a standout product. While there are minor considerations to keep in mind regarding compatibility and installation, the pros far outweigh the cons. For anyone looking to extend the lifespan of their M.2 SSD and ensure peak performance, I wholeheartedly recommend the MC1 cooler. It's a small investment that delivers significant returns, making it a must-have for any serious PC enthusiast or professional user.
