Liftmaster 41AC050-1 Logic Board for Chain Drive Operator

I am overjoyed by how well this worked. I just purchased a home and the garage door worked for three weeks. We had a storm and I’m not sure if it was that or it just being old as to why it stopped. I called a garage door company that gave me a quote of $3300 to replace things on the garage as well as a new garage door opener. Saw this idea on YouTube and decided to give it a try. This saved me a ton of money and it is now working perfectly. I can’t say thank you enough. I was very easy to install, but I will say make sure you take a picture of your hardware before you take the cover off. Also, if it’s not lifting, you may need to adjust the weight. I will report back if needed to tell you how long it lasted.

OEM replacement was easy to install and program with the included instructions. My opener had suddenly stopped responding to remote or wall switch. This fixed it immediately. The only thing I had to do was adjust the opening force screw / knob.

Product delivered was a 41AC050-1M (note the M on the end) not the advertised 41AC050-1 that I ordered. The the replacement board & back cover does not include a light socket like the original -1 (no M). However it did fix the problem of a blown transformer on the logic board. Quick, simple, economical fix.

This item is an exact replacement part. My logic board got fried in an electrical storm and I found this part at Amazon. It came thru in a timely manner and was well packaged. Installation was easy and the service people at Liftmaster/Chamberlain were helpful in getting it adjusted to open and closed properly. Yes, you may have to adjust the stops. Mine worked fine for one cycle and then it would stop halfway down. Readily fixed with some help from customer service and works perfectly now. Installation was easy. The only real issue I had was I added the Chamberlain surge suppressor that also protects the sensors and I had some wiring issues but they were caused by the original installation. All set now and works great. Another person in our area got an estimate of almost $500 to fix the same thin! No troubles for anyone provided you can follow directions. I recommend!!

Perfect replacement for fried logic board and easy install

My old Liftmaster professional opener died after a thunderstorm. There was no sign of power. I watched a few video and searched Internet and believed it was the logical board got burned. So I ordered this item. It took me about 15 minutes to replace the old one. After I plug back the power, guess what? It works like a new one!

Saved me money!! Easy installation, took about 5 minutes.

We are so lucky to have found this at a time this product was on backorder EVERYWHERE! I was quoted almost $500 to replace my opener. Little did I know that the control unit could be replaced after months of fiddling with the one we had which had a loose circuit and multiple instances of it not working. After 10 minutes, we had a functioning garage door again that we installed ourselves in minutes!!!Hundreds of dollars saved and an ethical seller to purchase from quickly. Thank you! Bought this as I thought ours was worn out. The new one works perfectly but keep in mind, if using LED spot light bulbs, you might get interference with the units ability to communicate with the wireless control unit outside. I discovered this myself as my issue. I switch from regular Spots to Led and my unit stopped working, and little did I know, it was not the unit itself. :-)
