Poorly designed👎
This is a very very design. When I purchased this product, I thought it would be easy to take out the plastic trays for washing. I also assumed the roll out tray would keep the eggs safe and clean. WRONG!!! There is no barrier between the roost and the egg tray. The eggs roll out right underneath the purch where the hens poop directly on them! I also have hens that break and eat the eggs. This design allows them free access to the eggs for eating. I also have a traditional coop, which means I do not have a door to access the eggs from the out side. Also meaning the laying boxes are mounted directly against the wall. This laying box is designed to have the plastic trays lift out from the back. Because my coop is set up for the next to be flat against the wall with no doors at the back means I cannot remove the trays for cleaning. Even though the construction and quality is good, I do not recommend this product.
