We had these last year, this is a second purchase for more of the same. When our house was in fire everything was destroyed by either fire or soot. All the contents in these vacuum sealed bags were preserved from the soot and the water from the fire brigade. Of course they won't protect from direct fire or heat, but 80% of our damage was caused by soot and water not the actual fire. So these bags not only did an amazing job of reducing the size of our larger clothing items, but also kept them safe from damage.

"You get what you pay for" - these are quite heavy duty and just work so well. The sizes of the bags were perfect for packing away my winter quilts. Haven't had any problems with the seals busting open. Also, the valve doesn't pop open when you remove the hoover, meaning that all of the air stays out. I have had cheap ones in the past which pop open and you have to get the cap on quickly. All in all, VERY happy customer.

We packed all our clothes and left to live in Asia. Only came back after two years to find them still neatly packed in the large containers we stored them in. The clothes still smelled like I washed them yesterday. Amazing. I noticed that I mainly used the small & medium ones as they fit in my 45L clear boxes. I would be buying more smaller ones as they’re great for travelling too. Highly recommended 👍
