Barrington 40" Dartboard Cabinet With Led Light

Showed up in about a week. Really nice looking board! Points and counter points to other reviews: 1) Board - is a standard stapled board but of good quality. I kept my original board which is non-stapled and better quality, but the board that came with it is good enough for most people unless you are a dart nerd 2) Darts - same as board. Good enough but there are better and much more expensive dart sets out there. I have those sets for me and let my teenagers play with the less expensive ones. 3) Marker - not sure what kind of marker this is but it works fine contrary to reviews I've seen. Think it's a wet erase marker. It does take a few seconds to fully show up as the liquid dries. It wipes off fully with the eraser time. Cool. 4) Cabinet - nice quality. It's not a custom hardwood cabinet but it's still very nice looks great on the wall 5) Mounting - was very easy if you follow the directions. 6) Lighting - it's top lit so don't expect it to look light a spotlight on the board. It's still very cool looking though. The only negative is that it's not super easy to get to, although after a few times I got the feel of it, and the battery cover is a screw-in type so I just left it off. Replacing the batteries will probably take a step stool. In summary, really great board for <$100. I wouldn't go any cheaper as there are some junky ones out there for less. Our local bar and billiards store has more expensive ones that are <$500, but for the money, this is a really great board!

I was concerned about the score board as some customers complained they could not clean the slate and the markers were difficult to erase; if you erase the board after each use, this is not a problem. We love this board; it is well made and easy to hang.

The light is more of a conversation piece than a useful device. It is set too far back on the board to adequately light up the front surface of the board. The cabinet is super nice, well finished and sturdy. The board will get you through a while before it needs to be replaced with a four or five bristle. The darts are nothing fancy, but are just fine for beginners. All in all, this was well worth the money and I would recommend to others. I did have grievance with the frailty of the wall mounting hardware and I upgraded it to make it less likely to end up on the floor in a pile of kindling.

I bought this for my son-in law's birthday . He loves it! It's a beautiful addition to their newly remodeled basement bar area. Very well made. I have played on it myself. My only critique is that it could have come with better darts. The ones that came with it the tops fly off everytime you throw them. So he purchased some better ones.

Very nice dartboard and cabinet. The only knock that I have is that the switch for the light is on top. You need to be at least 6' to be able to turn it on. So my enhancement recommendation would be to relocate the switch to the side or bottom.

The LED lighting system doesnt work at all, supposed to come with darts and bracket to mount the board to the unit and all were missing. Terribly dissapointing.

Got this as a gift for my father. He absolutely loved it! It is very nice and classy looking. If I had one complaint it would be that the darts broke easily. So buy your own, more sturdy darts. Other than that it is great!

Overall im happy with it. It is impressive & looks good from a distance. Closer up mine has some flaws in the finish in the joints and arrived a little damaged. That may not be the norm i have not heard it mentioned in other reviews. I like the lights but you will need more lighting as they are at a bad angle causing glaren off the wire ,shadows, and are too dim to light up the whole board. The light switch is on top. im 6ft and must reach up and blindly search for it. A few inches shorter a step stool will be required to reach it. Darts that come with a set are always cheap and are unusable if you are and expeirienced darter. The quality of the board is not as high quality advertised. It is not self healing. The scoreboards are smallish so you need to write neatly but are adequate. Lastly mounting the cabinet to the wall is a challenge by yourself. It is attached by the top corners only, so when removing the darts the cabinet moves. no biggy but irratating. Poor mounting instruction. They tell you to measure the hight of the bulls eye however it would be better if the told you how high to drill the holes for the cabinet.The board is fixed inside the cabinet so the hight of the cabinet is what determines the location of the bulls eye.

Product arrived with no damage to the box but upon removal found the item had 2 damaged areas. Too much hassle to return but still considering the option. Lights dont work properly - dartboard blocks the light and it is just a pointless feature because of the poor design. Looks way better on the amazon photos. Darts are cheap but expected as much. Easy to assemble and hang. That is the only redeeming quality this item has. Not worth the price tag.
