Thorstone No-Spill Coolant Funnel Kit

My 2006 Acura TL doesn't have a bleeder screw. This funnel allows the radiator to be filled and then hold coolant in reserve in the funnel. The procedure is to start the car and then as the engine warms up, and the thermostat opens, more coolant will flow into the system. The radiator cap is the highest point in the system,. As the coolant circulates the air bubbles flow to the highest point and bubble out of the funnel as more collant flows into the engine. After a point, no more air comes out and the procedure is complete. The kit supported the procedure by having the funnel that friction fit into a tube that matches the radiator opening. The funnel has a plug at the end of a stick, so the left over coolant can be returned to the jug or put onto the reservoir with minimal loss. I watched a YouTuber do the procedure and use a similar kit. This kit worked out really well and made the procedure easy. The price was decent and I know I will use the kit again in the future.

Worked great for a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK. The fit and seal worked perfectly, the plunger definitely it a great plus for putting coolant back in the jug. This thing is easy to use and great for not making a mess.

Used it on my son's Toyota Camry. It worked just like it said it would. It is very functional and is easy to use. No mess to clean up, and it all fits back into the box it came in. It was sturdy even with the fluid in it. Well worth the money.

One of the most annoying things about repairing vehicles is dealing with filling a radiator. Especially after it has drained down. (IE Water pump, new radiator, new hose, etc.) The fill hole is generally small so it is hard to pour a one gallon container right into the hole without spilling. (Especially on imports.) As the radiator heats up the fluid expands and runs out the hole. This set allows you to fill, burp, and monitor a cooling system without spilling radiator fluid everywhere. It has a big clear funnel that attaches to the various radiator caps that fit most cars. So now the fluid either drains from the funnel or if the fluid expands goes back into the funnel but not onto the radiator then onto the ground. Their is a funnel plug so when you want to remove the funnel, you put in the plug from the top, now the funnel end is closed off so it does not spill what is left in the funnel on the radiator then onto the ground. These are my new go to for any coolant system work.

Great kit for changing your own coolant at home and avoid the extra clean up.

Did not fit my Honda and spilled coolant all over. Might work well with other brands

Lo compre para poder purgar mi Nissan Frontier 4.0. Sin embargo el adaptador que sería el adecuado para mi radiador es muy largo y no cierra el tapon. Tube que cortar el tubito que sobresale para poder acerlo llegar, despues de cortarlo lo pude utilizar, asi que a final de cuentas si me sirvio.

Muy sencillo de manejar y facilita muchísimo el cambio de anticongelante al carro
