USB Hub
Works great, can move the connection between my computers so I don’t need a dedicated KVM and don’t have the space in my homeOffice and the additional two usb charging ports are a godsend

Melted after a couple of months
For the price, it works. For a little while.Mine has now completely melted to slag and is now unusable - this is while leaving it beside a computer fan and keeping it off while not in use.Actual fire hazard - do not buy.

Works well enough.
There are so many USB hubs on the market, and it can be very confusing which is best for your purposes. Most don’t have active power and simply passes on the supply from the source. Assuming the source is a USB port on a computer, then the supply is limited to 500mA or 900mA. This current is then the maximum for the total of the ports on the hub to share. This powered hub comes in a simple cardboard box. Inside is there’s the hub itself, a power supply, a USB cable, and some instructions. The power supply is rated at 12V/2A. It may seem strange to see a 12V supply, but this is to enable the QC 3.0 port to function. I’m not sure why, but my test system says it’s actually QC 2.0 compatible, but I will give them the benefit of doubt. You get four standard USB 3.0 ports that can supply both power and data. Then there’s the red port, which is power only at up to 2.4A. The final socket is green, and this is the quick charge port that can output up to 12V at 1.5A.The standard blue USB 3.0 sockets announce themselves as 1.5A, while the red socket announces itself as 2.4A. However, both port types handled 2A under test. So, it seems the red socket offers nothing other than not having data transfer. The results I got follows:5.1V @ No Load4.8V @ 1A4.6V @ 2AThese are pretty good figures. You obviously need the power supply connected to get these figures. The power supply carries the CE mark but little else. The pin sizes and spacing are fine, but you can never be too careful. Like any charger or power supply, make sure the socket you plug it into is uncovered and has nothing flammable near it. I do this with all such devices, regardless of who made it.Overall, works well enough. I hope that helps.

Perfect for any home office or mobile worker
If you are anything like me and use a ton of type-A devices from smart phones, 2.5 hard drives and everything in-between, this hub is essential as most laptops just don't come with enough type-A ports to meet your needs. This 6 port hub is truely plug and play and gets picked up by Windows as soon as its connected to your tablet or laptop. The hub is well made and fairly lightweight so good for portability and it comes with a roughly 1M length type-A USB 3 to type-A cable so you can tuck all your devices behind your PC so you arn't constantly looking at a mess of wires. The hub is powered from a 12V 3A mains wall plug the sort that are used by most home routers so if it was to break or get lost they are simple enough to replace and of course the hub uses a standard 5.5x2.1mm center positive tip which is good. I've directly powered this in my car powered via a 10Ah LiFePO4 battery putting around 13.2V with a 2.5 hard drive attached with absolutely no issues so it does seem to have good voltage regulation but I wouldn't try putting anymore than 14.5V through it just to be on the safe side especially for extended periods of use. The two fast charge ports are perfect for USB tablets and phones obviously without QC support but you do get 5V 2A plus output so most devices will gain a few percent charge very quickly so handy for a quick top-up so whats not to like? highly recommended. Portable USB 3 hub and smart charging.
The Vasuny 6 port hub is smaller than I imagined from the picture on the website. The four data ports are coloured blue to distinguish them from the red smart power port and the green QC3 power port. The hub is supplied with a USB-A to USB-A lead and a power supply unit. The 12 volt power supply is rated at 2 amps (24W) and is labelled to indicate it satisfies all normal safety standards. When it is connected a discrete blue indicator lights up. When considering the total power that can be obtained from the hub, from both the charging ports and the data ports at the same time, it should be remembered that the maximum is 24W. The two charging ports differ in that the red one will supply 5 volts at up to 10W and the QC3 green one 12v up to 18W.Each of the four blue USB sockets are capable of delivering USB 3.0 speeds. I use the hub with my laptop and desktop. It functions perfectly, both the charging and data transfer work without fault. This hub is a simple way of adding useful, extra data and charging ports and is good for carrying with a laptop
