I was unaware that this book was HEAVILY religious based. If I had known that 75% of the book was religious, I would have never purchased. Although I am not opposed, I felt blind sided and this was not helpful at all.Buyer beware.

Helped me a lot! It’s best to read it during your time of painful circumstances. This was my bible after dealing with a two year covert narcissist: rich smooth good looking boyfriend whom I almost married. I went on YouTube and watched 1 month of self help videos on Narcissist and it confirmed my situation. Raine Howard is awesome. I’ve read 4 of her other books too. Next I’m buying Miracles in your Mouth!Side Note: I hate the cover of the book. It’s embarrassing to carry around. I covered it with designer contact paper! Lol

On a road trip a special person that asked me to read this while she drove and I thanking for the opportunity. This book was full of reminders but also shed light on new thoughts as well as actions. If you have recently experienced hurt or think you are stuck in a relationship buy it today. It is important to remember to put God first in all things and confirmed that it does matter your method of prayer as long as its heart felt and a part of your daily walk. One thing I loved about this particular book its it wasnt just a life coach or motivational speaker sharing only her experience but backing it with scripture. There were moments in the book that made me think of past thoughts and behaviors regarding past failed relationships. Most of what was read can be applied to every facet of life. You are never your circumstances if you walk towards your goal or goals. The only time your life remains unchanged if you take no action to make it better. I definitely agree that you have to seek out you purpose or the vision God has for you.

This book has really change my life, The was a great bok and open my eyes to so many things. I thank and appreciate the author of this book.. It's a must read and will help you get through a toxic relationship. It will also set you free and heal your broken heart without holding a grudge.

I think that if you've ever been truly in love given your all to someone and to lose the love you thought was from god you should read this book.. it reflects on so many levels not just god but spiritually this book is one that you read when you sick and tired. Because its truly in that moment you make the decision to do the work on you.. lol I had to walk away cry and even repent to god for being mad for sending my trial threw this person but I'm glad he did and im glad I read this book but I had already had the mind to pursue God's purpose for my life from the relationship because we both were ChristiansI left because I deserve to be treated like the queen. I am thank you

Updated..could not finish! 1 star so many errors and contradictions in advice.Book arrived quickly. Some good advice and some extremely poor advice that will have u on a merry go round of toxicity!Positives: Great advice concerning monitoring if you respond to your ex's phone calls, texts, etc. Journaling your feelings, the confessions, and prayers were wonderful. P.8 Discusses living and loving within God's will which was very informative.Areas for Improvement: Chapter 3 which starts on p. 22 is entitled, Let Go to Surrender. The entire chapter is about letting go. However, the author advises the reader to "force yourself to be AVAILABLE to your ex." It should have been "unavailable." The author also recommends a face to face meeting with someone you are in a toxic relationship with as long as there is no domestic violence. To me, this gives the person the opportunity to convince you not to break up with them. If you are trying to free yourself, why walk into a trap? P. 31 states not "to hide behind a text, social media or a phone call when breaking it off." If you are struggling with your feelings for this person who is toxic and has you mesmerized, why agree to a face to face? There are errors and typos throughout the book which makes it difficult to read.I expected more from a published author who has penned several books and is a public speaker. I doubt if I can complete the book which will be donated to Goodwill. There are errors in the biblical scriptures as well. Another person who reviewed the book stated they were astonished a book with so many errors was printed.Recommendations: Although I honestly would like a refund, I would recommend the author hire an editor to proofread the book. Also better advice should be provided concerning ending relationships once there is an emotional and/or sexual attachment. Again, I am only on chapter 10 so the information could be there.

I ran across this book on Facebook, so I ordered the book three months after seeing the book. I believe this book was a message sent from God because I did not want to believe I was in a toxic relationship. I denied the truth for so long, then I finally opened up the book and read it. I was tempted to just put the book away and read it later. but he holy spirit kept nudging me to read it. I did and I found out a lot about who I am and why I would accept people that did me wrong. so I did some self evaluating along with the reading of the book. It is amazing how this book was so insightful. I plan on purchasing more of Rainie Howard books once I finish with this one.

This book is very informative, relieving, comforting, and the truth. I've experienced so much and this book has helped me get to a healing point. I feel so much better after reading this book. I would advise anyone that is having a hard time getting past an ex to read this book.
