Keeping My Cold-Blooded Buddies Cozy!
I recently switched to the Lucky Herp 75W Ceramic Heat Emitter for my reptile crew, and let me tell you, it's been a total game-changer! As a reptile enthusiast, creating the perfect environment for my scaly pals is crucial, and this heat emitter has proven to be an essential part of the equation.First off, the 75W power is just right for maintaining a consistent and comfortable temperature in my reptile enclosures. Whether it's for basking or creating a cozy nighttime spot, this ceramic heat emitter delivers the warmth my cold-blooded buddies need. The durability of the ceramic build is impressive. I've had other heat lamps that seem to burn out or shatter far too often. The Lucky Herp emitter has been going strong, and the ceramic design disperses heat evenly, preventing any hotspots that could be harmful to my pets.Installation was a breeze – it fits perfectly into standard sockets, and the lack of light emitted is a big plus for replicating a natural day/night cycle. It doesn't disrupt their sleep patterns, and it's perfect for nocturnal reptiles. One thing that sets this heat emitter apart is its silent operation. No buzzing or humming sounds that can be irritating, both for me and my reptiles. It's practically invisible, doing its job without making a fuss. The fact that it's suitable for both reptiles and amphibians is a huge convenience. I have a mix of animals, and having a versatile heat source simplifies the setup of their habitats. In conclusion, the Lucky Herp 75W Ceramic Heat Emitter has earned its spot as my go-to heat source for reptiles. It's reliable, efficient, and I appreciate the attention to detail in its design. If you're looking for a top-notch ceramic heat emitter, look no further. Lucky Herp has got your reptile heating needs covered!

150w bulbs for baby chicks
These 150w bulbs are great for baby chicks! I use a Zoo Med heat lamp dome and installed both of these ceramic bulbs. Once on, you can feel the reflective heat within seconds. There is no light emitted, so you’ll have to determine if it’s working or on by feel. 150w is perfect for baby chicks - I keep mine in a brooder the garage and run a bulb for 12 hours (on a wifi timer) before turning on the other bulb. With both bulbs it’s borderline too hot for the baby chicks, but one bulb alternating is perfect for them. I’ve read these bulbs can run continuously for ever, but I like to alternate the bulbs just to give them a break after 12 hours of use.

Good deal and works well
Two for 15 bucks isn’t bad and I’d buy this again. I got this for one of my ball pythons enclosure. However, I was skeptical because when I put the bulb in and turned it on it made crackling noises and had a smell but I realized that those were completely normal for a new bulb. Also, FYI please make sure to use this type of bulb hooked onto a thermostat!!! You don’t want to cause a fire/burn your animal. Do not use this bulb without one. This bulb also heats up within seconds and it gets hot so be careful of that.

Convenient ceramic bulbs
They put out a decent amount of heat and last a long time. I love that i don’t have to worry about glass bulbs. Worked pretty well in my winter feral cat shelter. Wish they were a little stronger though.

Great for heating up small spaces with not a lot of power usage
I live in the downstairs of a house (single family home converted into a duplex) and it gets cold down there even, or especially, in the summer when the AC is running like crazy. I put one of these in the bathroom and another in my kitchen and they work well to provide a bit of warmth. They only pull 75 watts of power, which is fairly minimal. (a standard space heater pulls around 1500 watts by comparison)I've had the one in my bathroom plugged in since I got it, and I haven't had any issues, so the build quality seems to be good. They seem to be safe to use, as well.I'd recommend this if you need to provide warmth to animals in an enclosure, want to provide a little more heat to a grow tent, or like me, just use it in strategic spots to provide a little extra warmth without skyrocketing the electric bill.

Pump Pit Heater!
I found this device as a WIN for an issue I was having keeping lightbulbs in service for my cabin pump pit in northern Michigan. First of all, incandence bulbs are hard to find, and they were burning out with two months. I'm guessing due to the tempature changes when on or off This 150w device does the trick in providing heat to my water system! Although the pit is 6 foot deep, the Well components including the bladder tank is in the pit. I've ran this for 4 hours and raised the temperature by over 4 degrees which matters when its 35 in there to begin with, and outside temperatures ranging from -12 to 20 daily. I've got this on a smart switch with a ON at Sunset, and OFF at Sunrise schedule. Working great, and now have a peice of mind when monitoring this remotely!
