Oddly enough, I like it better than the wave
For some context here, I've been working as a prototype fabricator for about a decade now, I build a lot of stuff and almost always need a multitool at my side. Since Covid hit I haven't needed my beefy Surge nearly as much, but I still find myself needing a multitool pretty often. I have a wave, skeletool, a juice, and an assortment of other leathermans as well, but they are either akward in the pocket, are too small, or just don't have enough features. Enter the Leatherman Curl. The Leatherman Curl is pretty rad, and its got some subtle features that are pretty nice improvements over the Wave. While its really nice having 4 tools that you can open from the exterior on the wave, I personally find that I only would ever use the knife and the saw, and occasionally the serrated knife when I just need a sharp thing to open something. Removing two tools means the curl becomes lighter and it becomes thinner which makes it much more pocket friendly. Swapping out the eyeglass tool for an awl was an awesome move on leathermans part as well.Something else that's pretty neat about how they designed the curl is that all the interior tools lock via a slipjoint mechanism. this reduces the part count for leatherman which means they can cut some cost. Not only that, but since slipjoints use a cam and a spring in order to lock, they were able to adjust when the spring actually contacts the cam of the interior tools resulting in easier tool access. In layman's terms, you can pull tools out from the inside without ripping off your fingernails! Out of the slew of different leathermans I have owned, this one has the nicest feeling interior tools. Some things I did notice on mine that were only minor annoyances were that there was a noticeable burr left on one of the screws, and some of the edges had very very very minor burrs that were knocked down with a pass or two of a file. Far from deal breakers for me.I think the only downside is that I would have much preferred having a saw over a file on the exterior of the tool, so I'll be buying a spare saw from a wave and swapping it out. Again, not a deal breaker.Overall, the Curl covers 95% of the things I use a multitool for while also being incredibly pocket friendly, wallet friendly, and even fingernail friendly. Oddly enough, I think i actually preferer this over the wave and I'll likely be purchasing a backup one or two in the not too distant future!

Great little tool for every day carry
I held this tool up against my weatherman, wave plus and my weatherman, free P4 both those monos are a little bit heavy to carry tremens amount of tools. However, I work with computers on a regular basis, and the curl is one of the best tools that I’ve seen around Lightweight because it has less tools has a belt clips so that you can carry it great for everything that I use again it’s not a heavy duty tool like the wave and or the super tool but for lightweight jobs things that I do, it works terrific prices right? The weight is right , knives are sharp has just the right amount of tools that I need for my job. I do recommend it.

Curl Up w/ this Neo-Classic Leatherman!
This soon-to-be Legacy Addition from Leatherman has less weight than the Charge+ or Wave+, but maintains 90% of The Essentials. I had to precision cut a thick hose, and the scissors came thru w flying colors. I just installed grommets to some work gloves w it using the state of the Art Diamond File. Makes a great Secondary when u need 2 LM's to do a task. Saves weight w joint locks vs liner locks on the utilities. Main blade is a Work Horse! There are NO CONS HERE, save that u require a specific tool like a saw, or eye glass bit, or replacable wire cutter bit. Its my go-to, even over the Charge now bcz the weight savings. The beautifull smooth Sateen finish has all the bling too. The clip is borrowed from the Free P4/P2 line, [not a fan of Magnets in that line], lost my P4 without any regrets! 😱, but I prefer the older style clip, but that is cosmetic. (You cant customize the Clip as easily, at least not yet, like u can w the Charge n Wave, w the Quick Release Clip Slot built into them).Im in love w this new Leatherman! Makes other brands like Gerber (for Babies), n' SLOG seem like childrens toys, comparatively speaking... & Lets not forget LM's Vanguard Warranty Service! Its a No Brainer JUST CURL uP Already n' buy it!!! So pleased I did...!

Use the sheath less you loose it.
I’d like to review the product but Letherman pretty much reviews itself. ALWAYS 5 Stars It’s an awesome product. I love having it. I had two of them and I lost this one and less than two months because I had it hooked on my left pocket and the seatbelt must’ve picked it up or something, and I kicked it out of the van, and somebody had an awesome find right there in Santa Fe Springs California. Dammit now I always use the sheath less losing $170 tool.

Not much else to want in a multitool
Very nice tool, for a better price than the wave+.In some way it is better then the wave+: it is skinnier, and noticiably lighter, and cheaper. The disadvantages compared to the wave+ are: missing a saw and second blade which is cerrated. Also it has less handle curvature on one side, so if squeezing pliers really hard, the handle may dig into your hand a bit more. But also it is just a smidge more flimsy, but very little, and that's it.I am a very casual user, and I won't miss those other tools, or the handle curvature, but a better comfort is a big plus in my book. However, as a casual user, I think I like the wingman even more. They are even more flimsy, though plenty sturdy for my type of use (occasional around the house). But what I like about the wingman is spring-action pliers. Though it has a combo serayed knife blade, which I am not a fan of.
