Got the cable 3 months ago and had been using to connect my MacBook Air with the my LG 4k monitor. It had been working seamlessly all the time until about 3 days ago, when the monitor stopped displaying the content when connected to my Mac. Had tried using a different laptop but had the same effect. Finally, confirmed that it was a cable issue after i had used an HDMI cable to connect my Mac and monitor and the displays worked fine.Reached out to CableCreations support regarding the issue and they were prompt with their responses. Eventually, they provided a 100% cashback as it was a hardware issue on their side and they couldn't offer a replacement. Full marks to the outside sales support.

Good product , works perfectly on my 2k 10bit 165hz display.Only downside is packaging, received it in very bad packaging and due to this there is slight scratch in the product.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it outputted the full refresh rate of the monitor at 144hz from my MacBook Pro 2020. HDMI was able to do only 120hz and that was with an adapter. It works as intended but I do wish it did power delivery through thunderbolt like usb-C does. I’m happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it. Beats having to carry around an hdmi adapter for MacBooks.EDIT: January 2025 - about 1.5 years after purchase it stopped working.

Couldn't give 0 or -Ve stars. The cable quality is utterly poor. It stopped working right after 2 months from the date of purchase.

I connected my PC with RTX 3070's Display Port to my monitor Gigabyte M28U's USB-C port using this cable. It is actually working on 4K 120hz at 10-bit color. Clearly, this cable is DP 1.4 capable and does it's magic due to DSC (Display Stream Compression). I was also able to connect my iPad 2021 Pro's USB-C port to M28U's Display Port to get Display mirroring. So the claim that this cable is Bi-directional stands true.I also tested 4K 144Hz YCbCr 444 at 10-bit and 12-bit color and this cable has the bandwidth to sustain such high requirements be it gamers or professionals who know their stuff. That's all there is to this cable really. Cable does feel strong and sturdy.1st cable which arrived was faulty. Just refused to work whatsoever. But amazon provided a replacement and that is working as expected. Just test it out by yourself in your return period and don't assume it will work for you.
