I've used the device several times now and it works great. The sound quality is great!

I bought this to use in my car so I could play music and charge my phone at the same time. I have an iPhone XR and have used similar products in the past, but they were cheap and never lasted very long. I opted to spend more money on this product because of the good reviews, but it unfortunately did not work. I plugged a charger and a 3.5mm jack into the adapter, then plugged the adapter into my phone. The charger immediately started working, but when I went to play music, my phone gave me the “This accessory is not supported” notification, and would not play music. Interestingly, it did keep charging my phone. I thought this meant it was an issue with the 3.5mm jack I use, but that still consistently works with other adapters. I was very disappointed, especially because this product advertises that it is compatible with Apple products. I waited a bit to write this review because the adapter actually came with instructions to first contact the company before writing a bad review if their product didn’t work. I contacted the email address on the paper, but it’s been a week and have received no reply.

This unit feel solid

The quality of the sound is good. Sometimes I need to plug the earbuds in then unplug it and plug back in to get it to work.

I used cheaper chinese versions which lasted five years but then suddenly stopped working. Then I bought this one and the Cirrus chipset sound quality is far superior. Worth the extra money if you use Tidal MQA or Apple Music HD lossless subscription.
