I kept trying all the slip leashes with a larger diameter rope but they weren’t effective when correcting the dog, they were always slipping, and the stoppers weren’t strong enough. After watching several videos, the finer rope is the way to go! Much better response from the dog, it stays in place a lot better, and the two clamps keep it nice and tight! I wish the handle had some more padding, but it is sufficient.

Awesome slip lead, really high quality and well put together. My one critique is the two knobs being on the lead.. as you can see with my orange one from a different brand one of the knobs is within the neck part of the lead so that it doesn’t actually fully restrict, kind of like a safety measure. I’d much prefer this and really wish there was a way for me to fix this.. there’s no reason to having two knobs on the lead??

This is by far the best leash I have used as a trainer, I love it, I have been so happy with it, I can use it on almost all dogs, not just small dogs and it works perfectly as both a correction tool and as a functional leash that is light and easy to have available at all times. I train dogs for a living and I can not say enough good about this leash. I do like wearing gloves with it, only because the thinner cord does have a tendency to hurt a little.

This is a good slip lead. The material is high quality, and the plastic clip stays in place unlike the leather ones found on most slip leads. It is very thin, which is exactly what I was looking for. My one issue is that both clips/locks are on the same side of the head loop, so you cannot adjust the amount of minimum pressure being applied. You can lock the slip in place to prevent slipping down the neck, but you cannot limit how tight the lead gets which is typically the purpose of having two separate clips/locks. The lead gets a 5 star review other than that, and if they have only put one clip/lock on the lead to begin with I wouldn’t have a qualm about it, just seems pointless to have two.

This is a wonderful slip lead with the exception of the handle, which seemingly was made to accommodate hands of the Jolly Green Giant. I show dogs that bought this lead for use in training small puppies. Unfortunately, the GIANT handle takes up half the length of the lead and is pretty much useless. I have never seen a design on a lead so poorly thought out and ridiculous. NOTE TO COMPANY - reduce the size of handle to normal and your lead will be fantastic.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a 65lb Husky mix who's been a chore to train, specifically to walk calmly on a lead. It should come as no surprise that pulling was a problem. After working with a couple trainers (and watching the Dog Whisperer), it became clear that while their approaches could be different, the tools were the same, which is to say, they all use slip leads and I was still trying to use a harness. I initially bought a pretty standard 1/2" lead that worked...but only when it stayed in place. It was like it couldn't find any grip on the fur around her head. The lead was slipping to the base of her neck instead of staying behind her ears at it should. I then realized that the leads that the trainers had used were far thinner that what I had, so I wondered if perhaps a thinner lead might do the trick.My friends I can tell you it did!This product, while marketed towards small dogs, was exactly what I needed. It is thin enough so that it gets under her thick neck fur to stay where it should right behind her ears, which allowed me to communicate with her without fear of choking her or causing damage to airway. This lead, along with a trainers guidance and consistency, has been the missing peice to happy, pull free walks.It should be observed that I do worry that she might bite through it, but so far she's mouthed it pretty good, but hasn't tried to actively destroy it. If that happens it's toast.I guess I should buy a backup, just in case!

Awesome tool to teach pressure and release. I have used something similar for aggressive dogs that need a more mild correction. I can't wait to use this one on my next aggressive case. The handle is an added plus and gives you more control. The only thing I could say bad about it would be the two stoppers. I'm not really sure how 2 will ever play a part together. 🤔 other than that, highly recommend

It is such a good quality leash. I've had many slip leads and this one stays high up on the neck! I have 3 dogs, 2 of which are reactive and I have complete ability to maintain control over my little pack! It's very responsive with the thin material , doesn't choke them because it stays high like it's supposed to!

Lovely & thin, which is ideal for small dogs, as it's not bulky around the neck. However, I would have preferred the material to be softer than it is. My dog doesn't have much fur on the underside of her neck & the material can be a little rough on her throat.
