Brilliant
I have two males cat both suffer urinary issues, back in the summer one was so poorly and the normal stuff i used didnt work, so he had to have an operation. (His had three in his life) The vet recommended keeping him on this or instead of the whole month just two weeks a month so it's in his system and monitor him to stop future problems. He doesn't notice it in his food at all. Still eats everything up. I do put water in his wet food too, and i add cranberry urinary biscuits to his dry food too. And fingers crossed he's fighting fit and no problems, my other boy started with alittle problem I gave this this 3 days later he was fine.. obviously that's for mine, but always take to a vet or pdsa if no improvement.

Never Fails!
Never fails! I first heard about Cystaid when my vet gave it for treatment for my cats cystitis. I’ve bought it from Amazon since. My cat has had cystitis 3 times which was triggered by stress. Cystaid has always helped. This time round it took 6 days to kick in. I have decided to do the maintenance treatment going forward to prevent another flare up. I empty the capsule into a medicine cup and add a few drops of lactose free milk and syringe feed her it. It’s the only way I can get her to take it. Luckily she’s very amendable. My other cat is very much the opposite.

It works for Miss Pickles my rescued cat!
I purchased this product for my rescue cat over 12 months ago because she had repeated bouts of cystitis, including blood in urine. She would then wee in inappropriate places, especially my settee!! She also looked unwell - so unhappy. This lead to many vet visits making her doubly miserable. It made me miserable too - trying to get urine for a test (nightmare), getting her to the vets (stressful for both of us), the cost and the time (cleaning up, vet bills etc.) I was told that she had FIC - feline idiopathic cystitis or feline lower urinary tract disease. This is common in rescue cats (she was 5 when rescued and lived in a very stressful environment). Stress definitely triggered episodes, for example when we went on holiday leaving friends/family coming in to feed her, she always had an episode of cystitis. After trying multiple foods and encouraging drinking (lots more money spent) I decided to try Cystaid. It seemed like another risk of wasting money but I love my cat! I followed the in instructions on dosage to the letter and now she has one capsule a day in her morning feed. Since going on cystaid we have not been to the vets other than her yearly check! We’ve been away 2/3 times and no cystitis occurring. Amazing!! I want to add that she is fussy but we’ve had no issues with her rejecting food with cystaid sprinkled on and stirred in. A tip would be to roll the capsule firmly between finger and thumb several times before opening the capsule because the contents naturally become compacted and hard. I also think food quality helps and we finally settled with Katkin (an online company selling fresh and gently steamed meat. It comes frozen). But.. we were using KatKin long before Cystaid so I remain fully persuaded that this has been the real game changer.

It works
I’ve been using these for my cat for the last few years and they’ve kept her going without needing to go to the vet. She gets anxious which affects her bladder and these do help - I have tried others which have not been so successful. Sometimes her flow is reduced, but she has not passed blood since being on them. I give her one with her food every evening. My last cat was 100% under the vet for his bladder issues, he was in constant pain despite ongoing treatment and special diet costing hundreds of pounds and ended up being put down after a few months. My vet experience made me look to the internet this time, and these have been brilliant. My cat is 14 years old.

Cat Rescue
My cat gets interstitial feline cystitis caused by stress, mainly when the foxes out back have cubs and they start invading her little back garden territory. I have used vinegar in the past, a tiny bit of cider vinegar has seemed to help in her wet food but she has been worse, probably due to age and I knew it wasn't a bladder infection so thought I was give these a try as I refuse to spend loads on ineffective vet antibiotic treatments. These pills are supposed to help the bladder lining stay strong and prevent the leakage and discomfort caused by interstitial cystitis. As far as I can see they have given my cat relief. She will not take oral medication due to a bad experience with worm tablets when she was young, so the fact you can sprinkle and mix the pill contents into her wet food is a bonus and keeps the stress down for her too. So far she is showing fewer symptoms and seems more relaxed and doesn't need her 24/7 litter tray but it's hard to tell if this is because of the pills or just because she has recovered somewhat. I will add to this review the next time she has a flare up. Just a note, though the picture shows a bottle of pills, mine came in a blister pack in a thin cardboard box, which may be of interest if you are worried about them coming through a letterbox. UPDATE: I have run through a few elimination tests and think I have to say that Cystaid capsules are not helping my cat. I have been using Cystophan capsules instead and these seem to really make a difference. It is a slow process to find out what is giving my cat such discomfort, but these pills don't seem to be the answer so I have stopped buying them.

Vet-Recommended Supplement for Urinary Health
We purchased Cystaid for Cats after our vet recommended it for our cat, who was having difficulty urinating. After incorporating these capsules into her routine, we noticed a significant improvement in her urinary health. Why Cystaid is Worth Considering: ✔ Vet-Approved – Recommended as a reliable supplement for feline urinary issues. ✔ Easy to Administer – The capsules can be given whole or opened and mixed with food. ✔ Effective Support – Helps maintain a healthy bladder lining and reduce discomfort. Final Thoughts: If your cat is experiencing urinary issues, Cystaid is definitely worth trying. It worked well for us and gave our cat noticeable relief. Always consult with your vet first, but this supplement has been a great addition to our cat’s care routine.

I have bought so many cystitis products for my female cat this is the only one that worked. I bought 2 boxes so it was there if things recurred.
