Easy to install
Only thing is the light flashes to often and at night it’s like someone is using a flash on camera

doesn't go off every time you cook!
when you DO burn something it goes off -- and then it stops, bleeps again after a bit if the smoke is still in the air but unlike some other ones I've had, doesn't treat cooking mistakes like it was the great fire of our time!

10 year battery Life!
Has all of the features of my now defunct changeable battery unit ( smoke & CO2) and has a 10 year battery life.

Unreplaceable battery died 1 year in for 3 of these
I bought 4 of these 1 year ago and so far 3 have stopped working saying the battery died. The 4th one I only just started using so I imagine it does soon too. Says should last 10 years. Waste of money

Looks sleek
Looks good and great price. Can’t replace batteries though so you need to buy whole new ones when the battery dies. The flashing light is really bright. They should have an option to reduce that

Easy install
Quality product that was easy to install and no hassle with instructions. There is a green blinking light that flashes in one minute intervals but is not a problem and not a nuisance. Great bang for your buck. Highly recommended purchase especially in rental properties.

Smoke and carbon monoxide
I love the fact that I now feel safe in my home.

Easy to install, it works well, and it looks good.
It's a smoke and CO detector. It hangs on 2 screws. It takes all of 2 minutes to mount on a wall or ceiling for those who are capable of operating an electric drill and a screwdriver. It probably works as well as any of the other bazillion smoke and/or CO detectors on the market.What makes this one better is that at least it looks half-way attractive compared to those ugly generic detectors found at the local hardware store or big box discount store. If it's going to hang on your ceiling or wall for the next 10 years, at least buy something that isn't doesn't look repulsive.
