I purchased these to use as a boom at the end of our driveway. Our entrance slopes down from the street and rain would just POUR in when it rained, leaving a pool in the driveway. These fit the bill!! No more water! I bought 2 sets, filled with sand, positioned and success. Water flows down the street toward the creek now. Have had many UPS/FedEx trucks that drove over it to deliver items and they stay put.

These long thin canvas sandbags are perfect for keeping water out of your garage when the water level in the yard or street gets an inch or two above threshold level. Not meant to hold back 6" or more, but I have found these bags to be quite useful under the right circumstances

Easy to fill with sand, did not leak, not like having a big bag of unsightly sand on my umbrella stand. Worked very well all summer!

Canvas is very tightly woven. No sand comes out. Either use a wide funnel or a small cup to scoop the sand into it. Very well made product.
