This is a piece of crap! My dog is 61lbs and as soon as he got on it, it collapsed. The pieces that hold the bottom slats in are about a quarter inch pieces of wood with a tiny staple or two in them. Do not waste your money

We have a 76 pound golden retriever that is about to turn 1. We have been wanting to get him an elevated bed for awhile. This one was priced right and it was the perfect size for him. It was fairly simple to put together and looks sleek in our home. We are pleased with our purchase so far!

Bed looks good, my dog loves it. I had to use my own nails to hold the two flimsy pieces of wood attached to to the frame that holds the rest of the frame in. They broke as soon as my dog jumped in the bed. They are only held together with very flimsy nails so be prepared to use a hammer, vice grips, and your own nails to make them more sturdy. Be careful driving the new nails into the wood as the wood you are driving them into is very flimsy and can easily break. Then you would have to buy new pieces of wood and cut them according to make the bed work. Which might be the better option in the first place, but I will see how well my nails hold. Check pictures for wood piece I’m talking about above and the new nails I had to drive in.

Very poor quality. One of the veneer pieces was chipped. Of course, it was the front piece. Whatever, I continued to put it together. One of the legs was also cracked… probably still structurally stable. I continued to put it together. I finished and put the dog bed on top and my 40 pound child crawled in and it collapsed. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to use the tiniest of nails as the weight support. Such a bad design
