Perfect for long, thick hair
This brush is a godsend for me. I have thick hair and especially when wet it’s very difficult to brush, but this is perfect.

Good quality
So I’ve had this brush all of maybe 3 hours and I love it lol.I was looking for a paddle brush and only bought this one because I like Paul Mitchell but more-so because it was on sale and figured I could afford to throw away $11 if I didn’t like it.Didn’t realize this brush has a light weight wooden handle, which I really like. The bristles are like nylon or plastic maybe but definitely don’t feel like those cheap flimsy brushes that randomly rip pieces of your hair out . I currently have a blowout and this brush is super smoothing, grips everything very well (I usually use a boar hair brush for smoothing). I haven’t used it on my hair while curly yet, but so far would recommend, especially for the price.

Durable and Reliable – A Must-Have Brush!
I’ve loved Paul Mitchell brushes and combs for years, and the Pro Tools 427 Paddle Brush is no exception! The wooden design feels sturdy and premium, and the tips on the bristles hold up extremely well, even with regular use. It’s perfect for blow-drying and smoothing long or thick hair, making it an essential part of my hair care routine. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a durable and effective brush!

Well-made brush for thick hair (could just use a tweak on handle design)
I have thick hair, and a lot of it, so a well-made brush is necessary. I've been using this brush for months now and love that it has weight to it and feels solidly made. I can get it through my hair easily, even when it's wet and a bit tangly. That being said, the handle isn't the easiest to grip. The shape of it combined with the smooth texture makes it a little hard to hold onto while running it through wet hair. But everything else about it is great!

Best brush EVER!
This has been my fav brush for almost 20 years! I like that it’s wood vs plastic or some form of metal. It’s not too heavy, it makes drying my long hair easier, it doesn’t pull/stretch my hair nor does it claw my scalp. They last forever but when it’s time to replace, I’ll choose it again every single time! Really, the only reason I ever have to replace one is because I’m super picky - after a very long time and much use & abuse the black paint sometimes begins to flake off - still just as functional as day 1 though! Also, they have a smaller paddle brush that’s just as awesome for those of you with short to medium length hair!
