Good quality as you expect in Klein. In one tool this has most of the mechanical functions you need while doing any repair or updating of your home wiring. Cutoff of insulation works well. Cutter can slice 12 or 14 gauge Romex. End of tool is good for forming the wiring hook for outlet or switch screws. Went without this tool for many years but now consider it almost essential.

I feel these are just a no brainer if you are working with residential electrical. Everything you need and will use and nothing you don't. AND if makes my boss much more comfortable seeing me stripping the sheathing with this tool versus my razor knife (I'm just as accurate either way but I suppose there is a potential to damage the wires with the knife.) And honestly it's probably quicker than my knife as it's already in my hand.

I'm a contractor and I place great store in professional-looking installations. Most electricians strip wire sheathing with a utility knife and leave ragged ends in the box. Looks messy, is messy and leaves extra loose sheathing at the entrance hole. These make clean sheathing ends and are faster than using a knife and the wire strippers work well too. It's my go-to stripper.

I get a new set of these about every two years as they do eventually go dull but I would never buy a different pair. I strip so much wire on a daily basis and these are by far the best I have ever used on the job site. Every strip is always super clean and effortless, the grip is comfortable even over a full day of use and these things take a lot of abuse. I have cut cables way too thick for these, but they get through them anyway and still remain in good condition.

Have many Klein tools and I always felt they are good quality and this stripper is no exception. Does a great job on stripping Romex sheathing and wires.2 issues for me:1. The locking mechanism is sub standard. It does not lock the jaws of tool completely shut allowing it to get caught easily on anything the open jaws come in contact with.2. The handle is very comfortable but acclimated in the wrong direction. It’s much more comfortable in my hand working with the white highlighted face section facing downwards. The opposite side does have scribed numbers but difficult to read. Fits much more comfortably with curved side of handle towards my thumb. This puts the easier side to read numbers facing downwards.Probably just my pet peeve but I do find those 2 items annoying.

Every person pro or other, needs one of these if you do home wiring. It is great for stripping romex and single wires. It also has an end for bending wires into hooks to connect outlets and such.

The first order arrived and was an empty shipping bag with the end never sealed. After several attempts to get a replacement sent a new item was sent and received, however Amazon is still showing the first item needs to be returned. You can’t return what you never received! As for the strippers, they are as described and is one of the best brands in electrical tools.

All my life I never knew they made romex strippers. I’m glad I bought these they work great.
