Looks great. The ring is fine for holding coffee cups (exactly what it’s meant for)
Nice basket. A bit expensive, but looks classy. Bought it for my wife’s cruiser bike. Not too big (check the dimensions), but you don’t want to stuff your backpack or a week’a worth of groceries into this anyway, you’ll ruin it quickly. The thing looks reasonably sturdy, but it’s meant to be pretty, not rugged.Everyone seems weirdly focused on the ring, so I’ll drop my two cents. Honestly, I can’t understand the issue people are having with it. Maybe they are using it wrong. It clearly isn’t meant for holding an ordinary small water bottle (what you grab from a corner store). But why would you want that anyway? You can just as well chuck that bottle inside the basket, it won’t spill. Where you do need to keep things upright is with a cup of coffee. The ring does this job admirably. Incidentally, it also fit a refillable water bottle (one meant for bikes, we got that at a biking marathon) and a thermos that we had.

Cute bicycle basket!
Love this bicycle basket! Looks so cute on my bike, but I just had to put it on my mom's old bike with flowers first. I know others have commented that the cup holder wasn't sufficient, but my cup fits fine. Haven't tried it with a coffee shop cup though. Very happy with it though.

Beautiful stylish basket
I love the color and quality of this basket. It has a large body, and I love the cup holder. You need to use a tall skinny cup with a lid. The short, fat cups will not fit in the hole (like a YETI cup). If your cup feels like a "Big Gulp" it will not fit in that hole. It secures well to my bike, without moving about. I LOVE IT!

Looks cute. Good size. Easy install.
Love the color and look. Functional and cup holder held a long medium thermos in place. You can fit a small purse in there along with other small things. Doesn’t feel very durable but it’s sturdy enough. Very light. Just don’t crash the bike and should be good.

Great Quality - Gorgeous Basket
This was one of the nicest baskets I have ever seen, although in the end it was too big for my bike. The quality of this basket was so nice, I was incredibly disappointed that it was so roomy and nice, yet would not fit my bike at all. It has a beautiful leather logo on the front, very nice straps, and the quality of the basket (and the packaging it came in) was superior. Disappointed that I can't use it, but easy to return for someone else to enjoy.

Very pleased with the weave design and wood inside and outside on the bottom for stability
The basket is on my new Amsterdam Bicycle Company upright that is built by hand according to my body measurements. I’m 5’3” and have never found a bicycle that didn’t cause over stretching. This basket I was chosen carefully to accent this $1’800 dream bicycle I’ve been saving to purchase for many years. I’m 5’3 “ and developed widespread cervical dystonia, stress seizures, stiff person syndrome only in my upper body so far. Fibromyalgia came first apparently but I thought everyone was soar and needed to stretch several times a day and eat Advil like it is a healthy diet. I was always hyper, a runner, would ride my Huffy 1970 upright design bicycle, after altering the fit best I could with Dutch style handlebars I ordered overseas, a seat that adjusted easily and stayed in place with option for angling to attempt the healthier Dutch angles for our bodies. I use to ride my Huffy 30 miles once a week. 10 plus daily during the summer in Michigan. We’ll be moving to Florida by October so I will have much more use shopping and using the basket for a longer bicycle season. I’m very pleased with how this basket hangs with no support rack like my Huffy has. I have the rear basket for heavy things. The soda or water bottle holder will be safer to take a sip, rather than digging through the front basket and leaning forward due to petite frame ( arm length, etc)We’ll done!
