N95 Mask USA, NIOSH-approved, 50 Pack in anti-counterfeit packaging, Particulate Respirator, STS-F100

I’m in the medical profession and recently went to my first medical convention in person. Although full vaccination was required to attend ,masking was also required at the meeting. I can no longer comfortably wear KN 95 or N95 masks behind my ears for all day. After almost 2 yrs of masking everywhere except at home the cartilage in my ears can’t take the pressure . I’ve worn almost every medical mask I could get my hands on and am happy to see them now available for all at a decent price. These fold flat for travel, the nose bridge is an exceptional conforming metal insert with exterior foam for comfort. They would fit most faces in terms of depth. They lay flat without gaps on the face . The yellow elastic bands are however tight which is for a secure fit but making it a little hard to remove. No bands have broken however. I wish they had an adjustable toggle at the ends mainly for ease of removal. I have some with a toggle at the end from another company. I have no contact facial dermatitis , no smells and because of the security tab I trust the authenticity NIOSH approved with 95+ filtration. I also wear another blue 3 ply mask over top of this with looser bands that my ears can take. Patients still get scarred when they see you in these N95 types especially when they are wearing home made types with questionable fits. I’m trying to set the example and and will readily tell any patient how to purchase . Frankly I think everyone should be wearing these even those who are or not vaccinated. I wore this on a 3 hour flight, walked quickly daily through a convention building the length of a football field, in an Uber, a the hotel and on a convention transport bus with other vaccinated medical people. I recently got my third Phizer Booster prior to the meeting as I was 8 months out from full vaccination recognizing the break trough cases we are seeing in our area. I work in a high risk profession but I think we should all be wearing these.

Delivery was not as fast as other masks I have purchased. On the other hand, these masks are seriously good quality. Compared with other N95s I've worn, these are quite comfortable. I have a relatively small head though and the top of these creep up far enough just under my eyes sometimes which is not always the most comfortable. However, the nose piece is very snug and secure as it should be, the material is not rough and there is enough breathability that it does not get too hot too quickly. The over the head bands are the perfect size as well not just for smaller heads like mine but also larger ones (both of my kids have beards and they can wear these without issues even in the fit.These were a little more expensive than some other masks but I have found them well worth the price for the quantity, comfort, fit, breathability and the fact that they are a NIOSH and FDA authorized N95.

We ordered these masks to get better protection than we could get from a purely cloth mask. These fit well once we get them on and they are light-weight and breathe relatively easily. Our only challenge is getting the masks on initially. The two straps which go around our heads keep the masks snug to our face but are somewhat difficult to use to get the mask on initially. We prefer loops that go around the ears, but they don't always keep the mask snug to our face, as these masks are. Once these masks are on, we like them and they seem to work well for us.

The media could not be loaded.  Very soft masks compared to the other N95s I've tried, particularly the inside of the mask touching your face. I'm an anesthesiologist and these are my favorite N95 to use. They are really good looking compared to the cheap horizontal "duckbill" style masks that you can find on amazon. They're very breathable and I can wear them for 8 -12 hours without getting mask-fatigue or causing the "mask face" with the bruising you see some healthcare workers showing in their profile pictures. Everything on the mask is made of good quality materials. The straps are attached very well and won't break off when you take the mask on and off. The nose clip adjusts easily and the strap design helps to spread out the tension across your entire face instead of concentrating it at the corners of the mask like some other designs. I even saw someone post a review where they were able to use it as a kids mask. These are made in the USA and Aegle uses a process called Track and Trace where you can verify that they are legitimate N95s approved by NIOSH and not a counterfeit product or a less effective KN95. They're very high quality masks for the price.

The fit is excellent. I am pleased because I have a big head but an unusually small nose, and I was worried that this type of mask wouldn't work for me.For best results, take the time to adjust the straps and nosepiece very carefully to ensure a tight fit. Moving the mask just a quarter of an inch up, down, or sideways can cause a tiny gap at the edge where air can leak in or out, so you want the fit to be precise before you leave your home and go out into the world.If you wear bangs or have long hair, I highly recommend checking the fit of the mask by standing in front of a mirror and blowing air through your mouth. Adjust your lips to aim the air up and to the left and to the right. If you see any hairs on your head moving, there's an air leak, so adjust the mask a little bit more.The packaging is excellent too. I feel very good about purchasing this brand because it's easy to determine the authenticity.
