Boon for those suffering from arch pains
I am a doctor myself and had been suffering with arch pains for a very long time due to laxity of ligaments and falling arches. Walking used to be painful. This product caught my eye when my physiotherapist asked me to try strapping my arches with a tape. I have now been using this product regularly now. It is really good. Even my physiotherapist took notice of this product.

Inconsistent Product
My take-away is that the maker isn't consistent in the product quality and I won't order from this particular supplier again because of their lack of customer service. See explanation below:I have ordered these in the past and received two that are very comfortable. So, after about 6 months of having them, I decided to order two more (they come one per package…so you get two separately packaged products in this pack of 2). Well, these two are very different from the first two in terms of fabric and stitching and not comfortable at all. This product is an elastic type product that you wear on your feet to support your arch. The first two I received were very silky feeling in terms of the elastic as well as the fabric and stitching used to cover the seam. These two are not soft so they cut into my feet, making them unwearable. Even the fabric and thread of the stitching is rough to the touch. Overall, these two are horrible and had they been the first two I received, I never would have ordered this product again. In addition to the bad product, my experience with the supplier is also not favorable. I'll first say that it's my bad for not trying to send them back before the 'non-return' date. Time got away from me and I didn't realize until two weeks too late that I missed the return deadline. I decided to contact the seller to tell them about the product and ask if they would exchange them because they are unwearable. They definitely did not offer to exchange them. It's my bad for not trying to do it sooner…so I can't fault them for that. What I do fault them for is that I asked if they would put me in touch with the maker so I could discuss my concerns and lack of consistency in the product since I felt I could discuss the differences better than they could. They said they would get in touch with the supplier and get back to me. It's been well over a week and I haven't heard from them. In my opinion, that's just poor customer service! Even if they haven't heard from the maker, they should keep in touch with me and let me know about their progress or lack thereof. I also like to think that they would have it in their power to exchange the product even after the deadline (especially because it appears to be a faulty product), but they didn't offer to do that. And if you are considering purchasing this product, then you are probably aware that this product is a therapeutic product…not just something you wear for joy and because it's stylish (it is not!).

they work for me
I didn't think these would help me, but to my surprise, i like them a lot. Most shoes don't have sufficient arch support for me, and although i have tried numerous arch pads, most are not shaped right for my feet. That's why i tried these bandages, and I have found they make my shoes a lot more comfortable and decrease my knee pain. I don't wear them with sandals or pumps because they are very noticeable. I have worn them only with shoes that cover them completely, like my cross trainers and other closed shoes i wear with socks in the winter. They don't come with instructions, and i almost gave up on them because they were so uncomfortable at first, but i did learn a few things through trial and error:1. They are extremely tight at first. My feet are narrow, AA to AAA width, but i found these bandages to be so tight it felt like my feet were cramping. I kept thinking, how could people with normal width feet wear these? then I found that that where i placed the seam made a big difference in how tight they felt on my feet. I also found that they do relax a bit after wearing them a few times.2. The aforementioned seam - each bandage has a seam, and one side of it is covered to make it smooth. At first i didn't pay attention to where i put that seam, and it really hurt when i put it in the wrong place and/or wore it inside out! Also, the bandage felt tighter when the seam was at the top of my foot. I found the most comfortable place for the seam is against the arch of each foot, wearing the covered side of the seam on the inside, directly against my foot.3. I also found that i can't wear them over socks; must wear them under socks.4. They wash nicely. i wash them in the handwash cycle of my washing machine in one of those zippered laundry bags for delicates, in cold water, and let them air dry. They didn't draw up after washing in this manner.5. They have not made my feet too warm or sweat more than normal. However, I have only worn them in the winter. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

They work! No arch pain. Bunion pain subdued!
I am old. I have wide, flat feet and a bunion on my right big toe. My left foot is always good to go. My right foot hurts like heck. Arch supports make my feet feel like I'm have rocks in my shoes. Recently while on vacation I ran out of clean socks and only had my graduated compression "airplane" socks to wear. So, I wore them. OMG! What a difference! I had never worn the airplane socks except on a long plane ride, so I had no idea of the difference they could make just walking around. No foot pain! I happily followed my kids through the streets of Germany with no problems. When I got back I did some research on trusty Amazon, and I discovered that compression relieves foot pain for a lot of people. I wish I had known this a long time ago. With summer coming I wanted to try an alternative to knee high wool socks, so based on the reviews, I gave these and a second brand a try. They both work equally well! Arch support, without rocks in my shoes. Bunion is tamed and put into alignment. I can do my two mile daily walk with no problems. I am so glad I found out about these. Give them a try. I am female and wear an 8.5 W shoe. I am also going to write this same review on the other brand because I want to spread the good news. Thank you, Amazon.

Best and Cheapest medical device ever
I got the large size since my big toe is leaning over to the left pretty noticeably. It was making it uncomfortable to walk since a lot of pressure was on the bunion joint, which was making it get bigger. I thought the bunion problem was just my shoes being too tight, but actually, it was compounded by walking on a crooked toe that was really the problem. These gel toe separators are comfortable and customizable. Each one is too thin, however, which means for them to separate far enough, I had to glue two of them together. Also, it became painful to walk on the flanged ends- the parts that swoop out and lie right under the toe. So I cut off the flanging parts. Now, walking has never been so comfortable- I can feel the big toe carrying weight like it hasn't in a long time. I haven't really taken them off since I got them a few days ago. I'm confident that these separators will stop my bunion growth and strengthen my gate.Just remember, bunions happen for many reasons, not just too-tight shoes. These separators were one of several changes I made such as cutting into my shoe for extra toe freedom, making sure my shoes were well secured at the heel so my toes weren't carrying the weight of the shoe, and positioning and modifying the toe separators to the optimum size and position so my big toe is carrying the weight of my step.

Helpful for MTP joint Pain, & Good Value for the Money
With these arch bandages, I have had real improvement in lowering the level of foot pain (1st MTP joint on both feet) which has been bothering me for months.Since the bandages are non-adjustable, though, I had to "stretch" them for a couple of overnights with an object larger than the girth of my foot. That way I could wear these "foot girdles" for more than an hour or two before having to remove them for a while because they began to feel too tight, then put them back on again when the MTP joint pain started to increase. I can now wear them for most of the day before they start feeling uncomfortable and have to be removed because they feel too tight.Rating of "4" for the product, because of the non-adjustable feature. Otherwise I would give it a "5".My order from BP Medical Supplies came via USPS, but without any tracking number. So I (and my hurting feet) had to just keep waiting for the package to show up in my mailbox. Because of this inconvenience, I give the seller a "4" rating.
