My suction cup keeps falling off my dash mount. What can I do?

This product is NOT a replacement for the ORIGINAL sticky disk that came with your CELL PHONE Holder. READ all 1 STAR reviews before purchasing ANY product to look for a pattern of problems and DISCOVER the TRUTH. I FOLLOWED the directions EXACTLY. Perfectly clean flat surface. I adhered the Pad, applied pressure for maximum adherence, let it sit without attaching the mount for 24 hours for "Maximum adherence" and within 3 days it peeled right off and was a gummy mess like bubble gum. The manufacturer knows their product is a made in China rip off.

Why adhesive on both sides? Suction cup does not need adhesive. Only one side does.

Adhesive on both sides is necessary when the dashboard surface is textured or curved and you first need to glue a flat plate to the dashboard to create a flat smooth surface. Once you do that, now you can attach the suction cup to the flat smooth surface. Many mounts come with a flat round plate that you have to glue to the dashboard.

Can you remove the sticky pad without damaging dashboard?

Yes. It peels off, or at least did on a 2020 Dodge Charger dashboard. It left minor residue that I rubbed off. Another cleaning with isopropyl alcohol and I applied another to the same spot. The first one was on the dash for around a year.

Can these be used as adhesive disks to create and air tight seal with a windshield crack repair injection resin kit?

Sorry，these double side adhesive mainly work for the items with suction cup. Such as suction cup windshield mount, car mount.
