Rasfox Anti-Glare Screen Protector Film For Apple 15" Inch MacBook Pro - Twin Pack

As you can expect with most stick-on screens, this film is a real nightmare to apply. They send you two of them for a reason, and you may well need both if you botch the application the first time. Find a very clean room with no breeze or clutter, wipe down all nearby surfaces and thoroughly wipe down the Mac screen with a dry cloth, before you begin. Then, as you're applying the film, follow the instructions carefully. Be very careful to ensure the screen is aligned straight (not crooked) and make sure you squeeze out every potential bubble before it has a chance to form.Once you get it on, it works beautifully. It's perfectly fitted (as long as your MacBook is the right size, of course) and looks like a natural matte coating on the Mac screen, rather than looking like an afterthought. It doesn't get dirty and doesn't seem it will ever fall off. Colors look fine and I don't notice any rainbowing effect.So, it's worth the effort; but take those bubbles seriously.

This is such a good idea product, but I believe the actual installation is so difficult and cumbersome its I will stay away from this. I was a bit weary of this product because of experience with using screens for iPhone. I watched their installation video and said, alright this is work a shot, since the product was so inexpensive. Well.. It was a complete waste of my money. First, having the iPhone i was some what aware of the challenges of trying to put a screen film on the glass.... Bubble, bubbles bubbles.. The big culprit are dust particles or lint.. I have found only one screen film that worked well for my iPhone and it came with a pre-install cleaning tape. It was cut in shape of the glass and you applied it and then pulled it off.. and whale... dust gone.. This product does not come with that type of system. So i cleaned and cleaned the glass, then tried the first of the two films. Bubbles.. bubble.. i could see where during the installation some dust had gotten in... Trashed the film... Second shot.. i decided to us tape to make sure there was not dust .. I applied and removed the tape, the screen never looked so clean!.. I try to apply it again.. immediately i can see that there is dust again! I give it a good try.. applied it all the way on.. but no way. This would make the great looking mac look like a hack job. I am convinced this film cannot be applied successfully unless you are in a dust free lab. The size of the film is to large to keep all dust out. It would be really nice to have a product like this that worked.. but trust me this will not work.

The product is good, it is a screen protector and all.I ordered this for my Apple 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display however the screens I received did not fit on my computer.Instead of sending them back, I just cut them to fit my screen but would have been nice to receive the proper ones.You could find better ones around the same price.

Installation was pretty simple ... got installed without bubbles ... 2 screens also gives a peace of mind of having a back up incase you make a mistake with the first one ...however the in terms of the clarity of the screen i am noticing a minor issue ... there seems to be an absolutely small percentage of loss in clarity for the screen .. however photo editing is one of the most important tasks of this machine for me and this could be an issue which ill have to evaluate ... for remaining purposes this screen works brilliants.

The grain in the film is too noticeable for anyone that works creates digital art. The grain blurs images and makes pixels and details more difficult to see. It works well as an anti-glare film, but I removed mine after a few months.
