64 oz no leak
Seems like good quality. Made juice, shook it up and there was no leaking from the cap. Pours good too.It would be nice if the opening was wider to fit my hand in the container to clean it but I guess I'll just put a rag or paper towel in with some water and shake it to clean it.

Don't worry about the pour angle, it works.
Great for making lemonade. The lid is tight fit and doesn't leak when shaken. Some reviewers make a big deal about the angle of the pour hole... don't worry about it. Once you use the container a couple nof times, you will get used to it. I think the design works well, and prevents drips, while still allowing an easy pour.

Perfect as a shaker bottle
I use this as a shaker bottle for protein powder. The size allows everything to slosh around and mix without clumps. The narrow mouth makes cleaning a little bit of a hassle.

Does the job
Overall, this pitcher seems rather thin, especially the top but that doesn't affect its functionality. It always seems to leak from under the cap after filling and care must be taken to get it on snugly and dry the outside. If the outside of the pitcher is dried carefully it doesn't leak.I have small hands and severe arthritis and find the pitcher is a bit wide for a firm grip. This is unlikely to be a problem for most, but if you are looking for a child friendly pitcher I'm not sure if this is the one (no children in my house though).Does not discolor from drink mixes. I like that the cap has a ring and can't get lost. It fits into my refrigerator door shelf easily.

Sturdy, easy-to-use
I've purchased this container several times. It's perfect for just water or something like lemonade. It's easy to fill, easy to clean. It's also sturdy - the only time I had a problem with it was when I dropped a full container on the floor, which was obviously user error.

Do not drop from a height of four feet straight down full of liquid. Otherwise perfect
I had my old Rubbermaid jug at least ten years when I recently dropped it straight down from a height of four feet fill of liquid. No I did not do this on purpose to test the product. After cleaning up the considerable mess I went right to Amazon and bought two of these which are substantially similar to what I had. After using one for about ten days I dropped it in a way identical to what caused the demise of my original jug. I did not do this to compare the two jugs. Both jugs broke on the bottom where they hit the ground about what could be expected. The performance of the two jugs in identical circumstances was the sameI do not expect my $6 Rubbermaid jugs to survive falls of four feet when dropped full of liquid. Therefore I rate these a five for performing exactly how a Rubbermaid jug is supposed to perform. They hold liquid perfectly until dropped. If I drop my one remaining jug I plan to replace it with the same product. I do not recommend performing experiments to verify my results. It makes an ungodly mess when the jug releases its half gallon payload. I hope anyone buying these jugs is more careful handling them.

Got this to replace a plastic pitcher I didn't like
This pitcher holds a full half gallon. With the lid closed is goes in and out of my bottom shelf just fine. To clean, my dishwasher has bottle jets and clips for tops, so this comes out clean after using it for OJ. I bought 2 because I found keeping one full of fresh water, then letting it sit for 24 hours or so in the fridge, makes it taste much better. I do find that water bottles need dish washing too. After buying a bottle of French water, I didn't like the taste, so I wiped my finger around the inside and it was slimmy. Everyone here washes their water bottles now. Highly recommend this

Great 1/2 gallon bottles
I have several of these 1/2 gallon (2 quart) bottles that I use for various beverages. I use these at home for making sweet tea for my family, but I especially like them for traveling and carrying beverages in a cooler. Because these bottles have flat sides, they can be packed closer together and take up less room than a round container. You will need a bottle brush to get inside the opening for cleaning, but the lid stays closed well and doesn't leak. These bottles are sturdy, and I have some that have lasted for years. The measurements on the side are handy, too.
