I wasn’t about to spend hundreds on a tripod so looked a budget option with no center column and can get super close to the ground. I was led to this and have zero regrets. It is so well made and lightweight. Don’t hesitate if looking fire an amazing tripod for a great price.

Tubes are much thicker than expected, hopefully mean more stability and sturdiness.Update: The day after this tripod arrived I took it with me on the road trip and was very happy with the overall quality and performance. I bought it without a ballhead so I can use the ballhead from another lighter tripod. It worked great. The thick tubes provided the expected stability and sturdiness which are the main reason I bought this.

I currently own a Gitzo 3-Series CF tripod and an Induro GIT 3-series tripod. The Induro is off for repairs, and my wife needed something in the interim. I did not want to spend $400+ for another set of legs, so I explored Amazon's offerings. This is where I found Arctise. When it arrived, I was surprised by the overall quality of the legs and the turn locks. While my $900 Gitzo has a little more refinement in its parts, I'm not sure that is i $700 better! The Arctise has 3-series legs, supports our telephoto lenses well, and extends hight enough that my 5'9" body can look through the viewfinder without stooping. Finally, it is relatively compact and easily fits along the side of my F-Stop Tilopa bag. The legs have a high quality : price ratio.

I ordered this because I was tired of having a wobbly center column tripod. This is super stable with my 100-400 telephoto lens and gimbal. Compared to my friends Leofoto tripod the build quality is every bit as good. I had it on the beach this weekend shooting Astro and the seals did an awesome job keeping sand out of the legs. If you’re 5’ 9” to 6’ 3” tall I recommend picking this up. You won’t be disappointed. Well done Artcise!

I've been taking this with me on my travels and while not the lightest tripod, it works well for my use. I pair it with a video head or a photo ballhead, both work well. I liked the ARTCISE AS90C I purchased and sent back, it handled more weight, was more sturdy and was a proper video tripod, with a bowl. The weight however, exceeded my needs for being light for travel. This unit has been with me to a few countries and has been a dream to setup and use. I mainly use it for video with my Sachtler Ace XL fluid head and my mirrorless setup and love it. Yes, overkill for such a small camera but I tend to keep my gear for years, with equipment growth expectations overtime. My previous tripod was with me for at least 15 years.I have not issues of failures with this tripod, I find it a really good platform to use for both photo and video. There is a center hook to hang something with weight (camera bag,etc.) should you require more stability. It was much better than I expected it to be. It has only been about 6 month of use but I hope to have it long term.

Nice solid construction but still light weight. Works great with either my Sky Tracker for astrophotography or my Gimbal for regular Photography

Too large - returned it. I do not consider this a travel tripod.

Very solid tripod and an excellent value. A couple of the screws fell out during use but I told the company and they shipped replacements to me for free. Super happy all around.
