Honestamente no se si este funcionando.. al menos el agua no se ve con muchos residuos de grasa o aceite en la superficie... no se si será x la estrella o por el mantenimiento que le doy. Lo que si puedo asegurar es que dura mucho tiempo y no como en algunos comentarios que dicen que se deshace. La tengo en el spa desde hace 4 meses y sigue en mi buena condición

Made a mistake in choosing these over the scum balls. These are a joke, doesn’t soak up scum at all, material is too dense and also the flat design of them makes them float on the surface so the scum just floats by. The ball design actually break the surface when floating so scum wraps around them. I’ve never written an Amazon review before but felt ripped off by this purchase for $15 of three cut out pieces of foam. You could probably go to a store and by yards of this foam material for yourself for $15 and make 20 of these - but they still wouldn’t work. You need something that breaks the surface. Noticed these are “sponsored” listing by amazon. But if you go into the review filter and break it down by verified reviews and by date you find that the reviews are doctored into looking like a great product but real people who buy this don’t find them functional. Imagine the profit margin on selling this is astronomical. I tip my hat to the company who has engineered this money making scam - you must be laughing. It proudly says “Made in the USA” and the packaging lists the company as in San Francisco - haha. Disappointed in the product but impressed with the marketing ingenuity of this company.

There is a lot of confusion regarding these and some poor quality counterfeits... these are the ones made in the USA and they will not sink or turn yellow. Great value - what you are looking for. Scum sticks to them but does not soak in.

This is my second time ordering these because I loved them so much the first time. So I ordered again and twice as many. Big mistake! I've only had them about 2wks or so and they are dissolving in my hot tub! The ones in the pool are working fine. No it is not that the chemicals are off I check it everyday and everything has been fine. I am now going to have to drain and refill my hot tub!

I bought these before and they were fantastic. When I re-ordered them, the die cut shape was a bit different and the sponge material was very different - and they were no longer were at removing scum. The original ones I purchased turned brown as they absorbed debris, these new ones do not change color as they sit in the spa and they are as clean when you take them out after a couple of weeks as they were when you put them in. These do not function as they were intended. I won't buy these again. I sure wish they had not changed their source.
