Excellent product, stove works so much better now since I replaced the old gasket with this one. I was told I could not replace my round gasket with this flat one but I actually like the flat better. Almost made it around my door twice, came up about six inches short so I’d definitely buy two next time. It fit inside the groove perfectly and the adhesive was wonderful. Stove burns so much better.

Bought a used woodstove that needed some TLC. After cleaning and repainting I used this gasket to replace the crumbling and rotten old one the stove came with using a wire wheel I cleaned up the metal and applied the cement before applying the gasket. I let it cure for 24 hours before my first firing. I noticed other users stating they had issues with the adhesion of the gasket cement but I have had the gasket in place for two years now and have had no problems with adhesion. Just ensure the metal is clean and let it cure properly and I doubt you'll have any issues.

So far everything’s doing great. We’ve only needed it one evening so far but it’s doing the job

I used this product to fabricate an ammo can heater for my enclosed trailer camper build replacing the neoprene gasket the ammo can had to preserve ammo or anything you’d want sealed tight.Using the supplied adhesive..the installation of the fiberglass rope was easy…quick…easy to cut though I’d advise anyone to use a filter mask because glass particles were drifting…but talk about easy. Yes.I know my use of this product is odd/different. But it worked. I tested the ammo can heater (Using candles/alcohol cooking burners) and I’m thrilled this fireplace door insulation worked excellent!Just be sure to measure what thickness you need since the rope comes in various diameter/thickness.All thumbs up on my end..!!

Very good product

Well this was a few months ago and the product did arrive as scheduled. It was a simple install and it fit perfectly! So if you have never completed this task this product is so easy to install. The wood stove we have is a 1979 wood stove and these products work perfectly for us. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone needing these to improve your stove door leaks!

It works well for a home woodburner. Easy to use when the insulation door piping needs replaced.
