Woodworking 3" Lathe Faceplate with Screw Chuck,for 1" x 8TPI Spindle

For those who need a small 3-inch face plate fit and finish excellent! need cleaning has oil residue and machining chips inside be careful. It has a grub screw for locking down to the spindle on the lathe 8TPI.Back the screw out and make a leather patch so you don't damage your threads. t comes with screws for mounting.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it seems by the build of it will work just fine. The screws they give you aren't very strong one broke when I was screwing it in in and another bent slightly, they could be a little thicker. I now have used it 7 times and the screws were the only problem.

This works great, have already used it 7 times. I marked the threads of middle shaft with a silver Sharpie where the flat area of the shaft was so that I could make sure the set screw tightened on the flat, not the threads. Nice addition to my lathe accessories.

This faceplate is well machined and very sturdy. I use it for the small stock I work with and like it.

The long screws that come with it bent first use and stripped coming out. The faceplate however is very solid, has a nice weight to it, and I think it will out last me. I suggest using your own screws.
