This is a great value, in my opinion. I'm glad I listened to the positive reviews and tried them. The hairband base is metal and it is fabric covered. Then, there are glass beads braided and wrapped with thread to secure them to the hairbands ( I believe). The ends are fabric taped. One of mind, I just had to mash the tape down a little and it was fine! I believe these would last a long time and the colors are gorgeous! Champagne, Ivory, a beautiful blue, pink, burgundy, and black...The one I have on in the photo is the burgundy. I measured about 14 inches in length around and the ends went from around middle of my ear all the way around the the middle of my other ear. They are big enough as to not be tight. I get headaches very easy and so far, no headaches! I am very happy with this purchase!

Got these to be split up between three ladies with big noggins. We've all had issues with headbands hurting within the first 20 minutes of having them on. These are light and comfy. If you wear it for hours and hours you might notice some tenderness behind the ears, but those of us embroiled in the giant head struggle tend to get excited if we can go hours and hours without feeling like we're in a vise grip.

After reading the comments for these I had higher hopes that they'd be okay. They aren't as cute as I thought they'd be, and they are BIG! I have thick hair and definitely and adult-sized head, but they were ginormous. It was like a balancing act all day trying to keep it on my head. And don't think about looking up or down because it'll just slip right off. Ugh. Super frustrating. Maybe if there were some teeth on the inside of them it might help hold it on, but they are just too slippery. Will probably give these away.**Seller contacted me and reimbursed me for the product. Some of them are crooked and they're heavy. They're pretty but not something I like to wear all day either just because they feel heavy on my head. They also don't have the comb type under the band which I thought wasn't going to be an issue, but they do tend to slip, and you have to keep adjusting it and fixing it throughout the day.
