Nice tackle box, lots of room.

The box is quite large, as others have mentioned and can get heavy. For me the weight is not a problem and I really like the fact that (at least as of now) I can get all my fishing tackle in one container! To address some of the concerns I have observed in some earlier reviews, I offer the following: Removable Drawers: The drawers ARE removable but require a small tool to reach in the side pocket and catch the tab that prevents the drawer from pulling out. I have found that a small hook tool (see photo) works well and doesn't take up a lot space in the box. Additional Dividers: The dividers that come with box can be used, but tend to lift out a bit too easily for my taste. I have found that they can be secured well with just a bit of hot glue. Additional dividers can be cut as you like and also secured with hot glue. For small items I found that cutting them lower than the other fixed dividers allows my big fingers to get to the small bits better. Removable Cover Panel: There have been some complaints that the hinges that hold in the front cover panel were too flimsy, but I have found that this is intentional in order to allow the front panel to be removed when not needed. For example, if you want access to the drawers while the box is on a bench and still have work room in front of it, this feature is valuable. That's all for now. I use it as a parts box. I have three, one for plumbing parts, one of electrical parts and one for nails and screws. I recently bought a replacement for my fasteners as it broke up to the point of unusability. If I didn't think the layout of the drawers was the best that I can find, it would be a 1 or 2 star, as it is easy to damage. The main weakness is the top. It is flat, making it look like it is suitable for sitting or standing on. I have made the mistake of doing so and cracked the tops. Since the handle is on the top, I can no longer carry them by the handles but must give them a bear hug. I doubt that the top on my fastener case will last long just from the weight when carrying. I will admit to putting much more weight in it than I would expect to as a tackle box. If you just use it for fishing tackle or other light materials and are careful not to sit or stand on it, it will probably serve you well.

This is an outstanding fishing tackle box! The drawers are really great, having ample room for storage of lures, hooks, etc. The top storage is huge, with plenty of room for large storage items, like large corks, pliers, knives, etc.

Handles my leather craft tools and accessories with room to spare. Well, at least at this point. I may very well run myself out of room in this box at some time in the future. However, it is big and roomy with a good sized storage area under the lid. Lots of room in the length of drawer slots with removable dividers. Top drawer has one tray that runs the width of drawer coming in at a 15in. length and 2in. width. Removed front cover on mine because it is not needed at this time. Easy to do, just snaps in and out. I like it and recommend it to anyone looking for a great tackle box or hobby tool storage box.
