Exact fit for a great price
So far, so good. Bought it last year but didn't install it until July 2020. Installation was without issue and it works great on the trailer but I haven't had the boat out on the saltwater yet for a durability check.

Product comes in a beat up box and did not work out of box.
I am a 20 year automotive tech and I recently got around to installing this starter. It does not work. Power and grounds are good. Attempted to contact seller and no communication from them. Turns out I am past the 30 day return. Try looking up the warranty information on the sellers page for this item. Its not there, no info saying 30 days. You have to contact seller for warranty information, why not just have warranty in plain sight. Shady practice. Don't by this product, plain and simple.

Good starter, good price!
Perfect fit, works great! Seems to be an exact match to the factory Mercruiser starter. Received it fast. I recommend.

Excellent fit without shimms.
Starter is for my 5.7L Mercruiser, difficult location to get at but with patience can be done in an hour or two. At first I thought the housing at the Bendix end was too long, but just had to reposition and was fine. Starter is working well.

Sometimes it is not diy
It worked for one trip to lake...maybe just my ski but now costing much more to have professional mechanic do it again...maybe save your money if your a diy like me...sometimes we can’t fix it!

Works Very Well, Thumbs Up !
Works well and looks good. Installed in our 1996 7.4LX MPI Mercruiser. Bolted in with no hassle and no problem. Spins the big motor over effortlessly. Pleasantly surprised and super happy with price point. Saved a ton on money over OEM.

Fits the standard starter pattern. Light weight so they are easier to install. Great price. 6 of them this year, haven't had a problem yet.

Exact fit , works amazing!( For someone that never replaced a starter, you may or may not have spacer shims between the starter and the Block , keep an eye on that) Happy Boating 😊

This unit is slightly shorter than the one I took out but works good so far. It's also painted where the one I took out was not and being in a salt water environment it is an essential feature. (1996 Mercruiser 4.3LX) I wish the shipping time was quicker though.
