This is an Italian style steam-based stovetop coffee maker that produces strong and dark coffee as strong as that from a conventional coffee maker. It's made of high quality stainless steel which is hygienic, durable and easy to maintain. More importantly the natural flavour and aroma are retained unlike in the similar aluminium coffee percolators which affect the flavour distinctly. This stylish coffee maker is a three-portioned percolator and it comes in three parts. Bottom portion holds fresh water and usually has a pressure valve. Middle is a perforated coffee funnel to hold the grounds, which should be lightly packed. The top portion is where the brewed coffee ends up. It's very easy and you can make coffee in a jiffy!

Not a 4-cup pot!
I bought this to use in our RV while dry camping so I wouldn't have to run the generator for a cup of coffee. Guess I should have looked at the dimensions or understood what an "Italian style" coffee pot is. It is described as a 4-cup which I assumed being offered to the US market that would mean an 8-ounce cup. WRONG! The water reservoir holds only one cup (8-ounces) of water so I guess they meant 4 2-ounce sized cups. I will keep it because it is cute and at least I can make one 8 ounce cup, drink it and make another for my second round in the mornings. I can justify it by thinking that if it actually made 4 8-ounce cups the coffee would get cold while drinking the first one. This way I can just make a hot cup again and again.
