My comments as a pensioner microbiologist
I received this product with 5 days delay from the expected delivery period. I used to work, as a pensioner microbiologist, with expensive microscopes. I was impressed by the clarity and resolution of the image. The illumination is perfect and I feel very comfortable to perform examinations on biological specimens. Certainly it is not an instrument for routine work but it is very good for a random examination. If the microsope had and an oil immersion objective lens it would be the ideal. It is a very good product for it's price a I recommend it with out any doupt. My only advice, for the users of a monocular microscope, it is to use both eyes successively, to avoid eye problems especially if they use it for long periods.
