This is supposed to stop emf and instead when i put it over my emf meter it goes up very high so it is not shielding the emf . anyone else test this?

Hello, The blanket needs to be grounded in order to shield you from low frequency radiation. If not grounded it will only reduce high frequency radiation.

Is this material soft and/or stretchy cotton or viscose/bamboo-like or is it like a taffeta or tulle textile material please?

Hello, Consumer electronics if equipped with wifi/bluetooth (HF) depending on the radiation levels can be harmful. On a case by case basis it can also depend on the tolerance of the individual and the levels that you are being exposed to. There may also be a component of LF mangnetic/electric fields coming from the electronics. The best thing to do is to take some readings and see how high the exposure is .
