Regicide - Teal Box

Regicide can be played with a regular deck of playing cards. In this game, you fight the face cards (king, queen, and jacks) with the rest of the deck, and each suit represents an ability. It's a very simple game to grasp, and it is very challenging. It is a bit dependent on luck since a bad card draw can mean game over. This particular deck is nice since all the cards have characters, so it feels less "abstract" when you pit a number 4 card against a King card. And really, I wanted to support the creators of the game because I think this is an interesting new spin on playing card games. The biggest drawback of the game is that there is some math you need to do, deducting points from your enemies' HP and AP. There is a companion app you can download for free, which will help with keeping track of HP and AP.

I had such a fun time playing this with my friends and their first time playing it. They completely fell in love as well, plus the ability to play It alon makes it feel like Solitaire, or something.

Another thing I like about this game is that it scratches that dungeon crawler itch without needing it's own game. Once you've learned the rules you can play with any deck.

Awesome solo puzzle game

Really fun take on a game that can be played with just a normal deck of cards. Plays great co-op with a spouse too!

I bought this game for my girlfriend and me to play and I am more into heavy games while she plays mostly casual games. This seems to be a perfect blend of easy-to-teach rules and enough strategy to make me come back for more. Games are quick and challenging enough that you will lose and want to come back again. And again. And a again. I thought the game seemed fun but after playing it, Regicide has far succeeded my expectations and has made its way to one of the top games in my collection.

We love this game. All of friends have really enjoyed it as well. I would get another copy just to keep in the car. Highly suggest.

This is a great game to play solo or with a group. You can play with a regular deck of cards but this set looks great and fits the theme perfectly. Get the companion app as well. It contains a fully-functional solo mode along with a score board to help keep score for multiple games.
