Like so many others at first I was confused about bottle color and the difference in price. I went to the local GNC store in my home town and I must say I would have gotten a better explanation from my neighbor's German Sheppard. Time for a little old fashioned research. GNC produces the Mega Men 50 Plus vitamins in 3 strength levels. The dosage and the bottle color along with price are good clues as to the strength. 1st is the Mega Men Essential 50 Plus in the white bottle. You take one daily with food. It is also the cheapest at 12.84 on Amazon and around 10.00 at Walmart for 60 caps. The next level up is the Mega Men 50 Plus One Daily. It has a bit more vitamins per dose in some vitamins, comes in a black bottle has 60 caps per bottle and sells for around 21.58. The highest level is the Mega Men 50 Plus. This formula has the most vitamins per dose and you take 2 caps with meals. It comes in a black bottle and retails for around 45.00 for 180 caps (a 90 day supply). I know this is confusing but I made the mistake of buying the Essential version (white bottle) and I felt no different than taking a One A Day. I recently bought the 2nd level, Mega Men 50 Plus One Daily (black bottle). They are good but I believe on my reorder I will go with the 2 cap version (black bottle). In short both the white and black bottles are genuine GNC products just different formulas. I hope this helps.

Take these instead of a bunch of different vitamins. So they work fir me.
