Once I chewed and swallowed the nut is when the real burn kicked in. Every breath I took was painful (in a good way, IYKYK).Please be warned, these are truly not for the feint of heart or mouth. The size of the bag is huge for this type. If you finish this bag, you’ll probably be stuck in the toilet for an entire day. These are super damn spicy. Like I eat Carolina reaper peppers all the time and these aren’t far behind it. The texture is perfect and I didn’t find any shells at all. The freshness is good. And the quality is great. The saltiness is non existent.

I bought these for a family member that loves very spicy snacks and foods. He loves the flavor and he he said that even for him these were quite spicy. So, it seems the packaging is accurate.

If you like pistachios and spicy food this is it. Bought this for my husband and he thought they were just too spicy.

I like spicy food a lot, but this is the kind of thing I consume only a bit at the time. The heat of these lingers on the tongue, so a half dozen, followed by MUCH less spicy peanuts was perfect. I actually finished 16 oz of the 'spicy' peanuts before these pistachios. Top notch and unapologetically hot.
